Please help! How do you pronounce Lumineuse? TIA

I would say "loo-min-ooze." The "euse" sound is difficult to explain.

Keep in mind, the SA's probably don't speak French either. I pronounced "pochette" emphasizing the "chette" like I would if speaking French, and I think I caught the SA off guard.

The 'euse' is pronounced like 'erse' in 'converse' without 'R' sound and more lip-rounding

It took me saying "converse" out loud a bunch of times, but I finally got what you mean! haha. When I look at "euse" I just think it's pronounced "euse." I think the sound is very hard to explain to anyone who has never studied French. That's why I just simplified the pronunciation, I realize it's not correct. :)

Thank you. That's just what I was looking for!

I live in France and speak French fluently.
Vuitton = "vwee-taw(n)" (the "n" is in parentheses to indicate it's not a hard N but a soft one, kind of like the n in the word "long". If you take the L and the G off of "long," you have the correct sound for the second syllable.
Hermès = air-mezz. Usually an "s" at the end of a word is not pronouced in French, but in this case, it being the name of a Greek god, it is.

Any other questions about pronunciation I'd be happy to answer!

Just found the link to google translate. Type in anything and it will pronounce it for you! Now we'll all know how to pronounce the LV names of everything!

Here it is again in case you missed it:

Oh dear! I wouldn't trust this site. Unless you really want to hear the North American version pronounced. She is pronouncing the S in Louis for one thing as if it were Lewis. The French would not like that :D

The Louis Vuitton Pronunciation Thread

I wanted to start a new LV Pronunciation Thread because the old one hadn't been updated in a while...

I think it will be nice to have a thread where users can go to find out how to pronounce certain names of LV products...

Can we go back to Ebene please? A couple ladies tried to explain it but I'm still confused. I pronounce it Eh-bean. But is the second e soft, so it's Eh-ben, like the man's name?
