can we go back to ebene please? A couple ladies tried to explain it but i'm still confused. I pronounce it eh-bean. But is the second e soft, so it's eh-ben, like the man's name?

For nearly every French word out there: never pronounce the last letter of the word. But for English speakers it is very hard i've noticed.

Lol, say it as it sounds.... when you are European french is a wiz.... Spainish is what I am learning..

In Spanish all letters are pronounced. Once you know how to pronounce a letter, you can say any word out loud.

In French, it's quite different!
I know this issue very well since I teach French at the University! And I have twice gotten LV pronunciation questions from my girl students.
