When I got my Cerise Pouchette I made a couple of attempts to pronounce it. When that didn't work, I just pointed and said, "I'd like to see that one, please."

Re Dentelle--The SA's here in NYC really do pronounce it "Dehn-TEEL", not "Dahn-TELL". So my 5 years of French goes wasted
I am 100% sure that it should be dahn-tell, not all SAs can pronunce everything correctly.
Regarding Noe, the bag's name is actually Noé, so it'd be pronunced "No-ay"

Funny to see this thread because I was actually thinking about the very same thing last night. I took French in school and even if I didn't know how to say a lot of things my pronunciation was always perfect. Guess that won't always help much. I honestly don't know how you get "dahn-teel" out of Dentelle.
Omg! I feel so much better that you said that. I felt like a huge dweeb when I said Houston like the city and the SA said House ton. I just paused, looked at my SA, and was turning bright red, lol.
While we're on the topic, how do you pronounce Azur correctly? I took French for 4 years and I still seem to be lost with some of these pronunciations!

Oops, I'm guilty of the Houston thing as well. I pronounce it as you guys did, and then my SA said, the HOUSE-TON is really versatile.
DO you think they have classes on how to pronounce the names of the bag? And maybe standard operating procedures on how to deal with customers who slaughter names? As in 1) Never scold the customer and tell them the pronounced it wrong, 2) Repeat the name of the bag with correct pronunciation.
