Vacation was perfect! Very relaxing and just what we all needed. It stormed our last night there, but other than that we could not have asked for better weather.
I think I've found my "Largo" bangle! What do you think? Pretty good color match?

Crosso, your new carved bangle looks very nice with some translucence, too! I'm still considering a carved one from him. I'm actually expecting a dark Hetian from him - guess I'm addicted to dark Hetians as I've been collecting various sizes & widths...besides going with everything like a LBD, love their soft buttery feel... If it's all good then next may have to be a carved jadeite one of his! The Largo bangle does look like a perfect match to that water color!

JKP, you are SO right, it is an addiction! I certainly didn't need these last two bangles, but could not resist. I love the carved bangles and have a thing for fish - and I couldn't get the idea of a bangle the color of that water out of my head! Wearing it will be a nice reminder of one of my favorite places and good times with my guys!

I used to have a white jade ring that my late father gave as a birthday present when I was in my twenties. I didn't know that jade is such a precious stone until I saw this thread. *sob*

Hope all is well! Im sorry to bother you. Please be patient with me! Frankly, I know nothing about jade and what is real or not. Mostly, I know jade is cold to touch. The last one that I posted is not even jade. I found out later after I bought it. However, the green one is the only real one I have so far. I will be posting the images this weekend. I bought another one and this time its an old purple one (see images). What do you think? Thank you in advance for any reply! - Connie

crosso, your carved bangle is lovely. thats the same seller that i got my cheap carved bangle from. the cert is legit, so i am happy. but i agree with u that he sells alot of treated jades and its necessary to wade thru them to get to the grade 'A's.
