Hey ladies! I'm feeling better today! I must be 'cuz I'm choosing strong colors again (Milford with bright blue sapphire earrings & necklace).

Crosso, darn I forgot to watch that SNL special. Wish I would have seen Paul Simons necklace!

Molly, yay, so happy to hear your feeling better!! I believe it since you are wearing brighter, stronger colors. Colors do reflect mental states so much!

Thanks Claire. Yes, it's nice to have the choice with jade pieces and other jewelry. I could never be one of those people who wear the same jewelry day after day. For me it would be like eating the same food at every meal.

Hi jadies!

I picked up a pair of earrings with the hallmark "TYLK" and went digging through the internet. TYLK stands for Tai Yick Lai Kee according to this article from the Southwest Chinese Journal, Texas, 1978.

Makes me wish I could time travel and pick up some gold and jade before prices went sky high. lol

I'm in recovery mode with the flu.... tired, but I think I'll okay for work tomorrow. Have a great day, all!

Me too Molly! Jewelry is an evolution! But, as I get older, the more I appreciate the simple classics as jewelry staples, like the bangle, the right size beads, the eternally beautiful strand of pearls. It's these basics that I will invest in, and with those comes the fun mixing and matching with other things!

Molly, I have permanent bangles and there is still one arm free .
And everyday I choose which pendant and earrings (and rings ) I wear.
So I eat the same food every day (like I drink coffee every day) and I choose what to eat and drink though.... ;)

Ah I see Uli. The only thing that has been constant for me through the years has been my wedding band. Sometimes I drink coffee, sometimes I drink tea . . . Hahaha:D
