And it should not be expensive, I think, because if someone broke it by accident she would feel too bad!

Uli, that's a pretty choice "traveling bangle".

There was an Hermes thread awhile ago that did the same with a traveling twilly . They named the twilly and everything. I think if we do this, we should set up a separate thread for her, for exclusive traveling bangle pics. Fun! I'm in.

I think it would be fun too. We wouldn't have to engrave it. (We can & will each "imprint" it with our energy. haha) I agree, inexpensive would be better and would be more lighthearted and fun. Maybe we could name her and take her/him out for photo ops - Lunches? Parks? Scenery around our local area? Maybe we could find an inexpensive sturdy bangle from unijade or something? If 10 of us went in for say $30.00, could we find something sturdy for say $300.00? What do you think?

Ultimate jade is so nice to deal with. Perhaps we could tell her our arrangement (once we get everyone's commitment to join in) and then see if we can arrange to send payments to her individually. Maybe she would even have some recommendations for us. She knows about us. When it's paid for, she could ship it out to the nearest person to her. Maybe we could develop a plan for where it's route would be geographically (as it travels through the globe?) and when it should ship out to the next person? Maybe 2 weeks with each sister? . . . just a thought. . .

Molly and Uli, I'm in. That's a great bangle AND it's beautiful! No idea how to organize the payment other then to tell the seller that many people will be paying 10 bucks each or so for it as a 'community' bangle....as an energetic experience lol!

GS, what a great article! I would love to see the paintings that are described. Gosh, those carved bangles are such a dream. Glorious !!

Molly, sorry chemo is no fun. Stay strong sister! It will not last forever....light at the end of the tunnel!
