I recently got into jade. I love history and beauty behind it. I also love the fact it can bond people from all sorts of backgrounds all over the world. The love and support here among the jade sisters is amazing. :hugs:
Anyway I have a quick question how does one "revive" their jade piece? I noticed my princess "Minty" bangle (first one I bought) has some "dry" spots...is there something I can do myself to polish it up? TIA

Mei Mei, for stone lines or dry spot, just keep constantly wearing the jade (including bathing with it) and over a week or two, the dry spot will be less visible and more moist.

We could engrave it on a bangle as a bangle would have enough space!!!!

Yes, remember the sisterhood of the travelling pants? We could have a travelling bangle that gets engraved and then, passed by mail to each sister to have her turn with it. We could document - wearing it , outings with, it feelings about it, etc? If everyone who wanted to partake, donated $20.00 or $50.00 (Maybe we could purchase a bangle online to be the start our own "sisterhood of the travelling bangle!) What does everyone think?

For me just wearing my bangles, washing my hands which includes washing my bangles too depending on what I was doing, and showering with them on has made a slight difference. I've heard olive oil is OK to use in jade, but you may want to double check yourself. In other posts I read some jade sisters give their bangles regular soaks in water.

The bangle size could be tricky, but not everyone necessarily needs to wear it...
