Could the Pivoines possibly be a silk 140? I can't tell if the photo shows a drawing of a scarf, or an actual scarf![]()
I believe the b&w pivoines was the original drawing. I didn’t see any Pivoines with this colorway at the Paris Carré event - you can see the sketch in my picture below
It's a very long scroll that was also at the Singapore Carre Club event. Octave and Theo just keep adding to and extending the drawing.Gorgeous! I hope they are protecting the original drawing well. Looks like it's just laying around ????
whoever designed this color way 100% was on acid.
thank you for clarifyingIt's a very long scroll that was also at the Singapore Carre Club event. Octave and Theo just keep adding to and extending the drawing.
did you try selling your kidney? Must be enough for a 70 cm Carre.Since I already work and (oddly) have no money I may have to sell my soul![]()
*sigh* in this case: good bye kind kidney left. Good bye kind kidney right. Good bye first bornCould the Pivoines possibly be a silk 140? I can't tell if the photo shows a drawing of a scarf, or an actual scarf![]()
They all look cartoonish to me. We keep reading that the designers have no input on the actual CWs made and sold (which has always seemed bizarre to me - do you respect the artist or not?)![]()
That actually scorches the eyeballs. I mean every time I look at that I feel smoke coming out of the sockets. But then some of the other color ways have the same effect. Why do they do this to her drawings? Have they ever thought of consulting her? Apparently not from what I've read.
Skip the beads. I'll pawn my baubles for an embroidered Pivoines (gasp, gasp...)

It’s not a silk piece, it’s a part of the setting of the Paris event.Could the Pivoines possibly be a silk 140? I can't tell if the photo shows a drawing of a scarf, or an actual scarf![]()
No idea... It was an illustration at the event but I don’t recognize it as a scarfIs the lion a new design?
There is a drawing on the table and a large square displayed with the CWs of the design from SS2019Could the Pivoines possibly be a silk 140? I can't tell if the photo shows a drawing of a scarf, or an actual scarf![]()
Yes, there is a long sketch of the design on the table. The pic of the design in black and white was displayed as a large square together with the 90s from SS2019. It may not be a new format for SS2020, though... IDKI believe the b&w pivoines was the original drawing.
