I have to say that for me, the Samourais GMs are utterly disappointing. I’m just gonna say it: so many fabulous cws in the silk, zero in the cashmere. I am seriously hoping any of these look better or work on me IRL. Hoping hoping!!!! But They really couldn’t do any similar to the silks?

Same. I'm a bit underwhelmed by the samourai csgms... of course, they're all lovely but none of them for me feel like a must have. i did go a little crazy buying nearly all the cws in the silk, so maybe i feel satisfied enough with those.

that said, 05 is really lovely (i will certainly try it on!) and the pale greenish one could be nice too.

but big part of me sort of hopes there won't be anything more!!

on the other hand, jaguar quetzal is so pretty! I don't know if the pattern is quite me when tied, but the pattern is utterly adorable. right now contemplating a silk and csgm in this pattern.

There's something un- Summery about the design IMO , it's dense and very detailed .and seems made for complex , rich colourations which I imagine wearing with lux velvets, cords and cashmere .

I think pure silk twill's lustre quality is severely underrated too.

I'll post as soon as mine arrives. I have a feeling 01 will be slightly darker than pictured in the stock photo for the 90.

I am waiting to see if there is a purple based CW of JQ in a 140 (I haven't seen any posted here & my SA said she would let me know if she gets one), other than that, maybe a 90 in that design will come home with me. I didn't see anything else that was calling my name, although many are the offerings are very beautiful.

Hi, rainneday! Nice to see you here! Yes, you'd look terrific in a purple-based JQ if there is one (it's so terribly difficult to tell from the H photos). Either in a 140 or a 90... you can wear those large A.S. designs so easily!

Hi! I hope you've been well Thank you, yes, I am really hoping for a purple 140, all of my shawls seem to lack shades of purple in them. Do you have your eye on any specific scarves from this thread?

Here's JQ in CW 16 in natural light. I was afraid it'd be too much like Pirouette au Galop in Navy, but I thought it was different enough. I wasn't a fan of JQ until I tried it on. I think I want CW 05 too.
