Let’s keep the faith. Some of my favorite shawls were not the colorways that were immediately shown- the grey Dalet and the blue purple cavalieria d’etriers come to mind. They must have known that this shawl would be a big seller. Hopefully there are more to come. I’m being selfish. I already like one bit I was hoping for multiples on this one.
I like both cw 05 and 06 of the samurai. I already have so many colourful scarfes and shawls (particularly in pink) so I need more neutral ones.

Same. I'm a bit underwhelmed by the samourai csgms... of course, they're all lovely but none of them for me feel like a must have. i did go a little crazy buying nearly all the cws in the silk, so maybe i feel satisfied enough with those.
that said, 05 is really lovely (i will certainly try it on!) and the pale greenish one could be nice too.
but big part of me sort of hopes there won't be anything more!!
on the other hand, jaguar quetzal is so pretty! I don't know if the pattern is quite me when tied, but the pattern is utterly adorable. right now contemplating a silk and csgm in this pattern.
@Joannadyne @Croisette7 kindly share the list of cws for Samourais as below;
01 blanc/turquoise/vert
03 turquoise/orange/rosé
06 gris chine/bleu/gris
07 rosé indien/vert/ corail
09 naturel/vert/absinth
10 gris chine/mauve/parme
It's however missing cw 05 which @yodaling1 found from the online site. So there's a total of 7 cws at the moment.
@scarf1 Thank you for sharing pic of the Les Confessions mousseline!The design is perfect in mousseline as it's so whimsical and fun, making it more ethereal in that material.
We are only missing cw 12 so far, which is Emeraude/Absinthe/Saumon. Yes, only eight colorways issued, so I'm afraid that would be all for PdS csgm, unless H heard us here and added some emergency printing

What are your thoughts about the new care tag? Will you leave it on the scarf, or will you (gently) remove it?

As far as the care tag, I am not sure. Will probably leave on at first. It is larger than the old style, I think.
If it gets in the way on the moussie, I will take pix before, carefully remove, and save the tag.
The reason it is only attached on one side(2 stitches), is because there is info on the back of the label also.
BTW, the 90s seemed to have the same new scarf tag.
I didn't get a good look at the CSGM tag.

I have to say that for me, the Samourais GMs are utterly disappointing. I’m just gonna say it: so many fabulous cws in the silk, zero in the cashmere. I am seriously hoping any of these look better or work on me IRL. Hoping hoping!!!! But They really couldn’t do any similar to the silks?
You all know I loved the silks. I made that handy Cw photo chart and almost all of those cws are absolute winners. I keep looking at the pics hoping something will change.... [emoji20] They’re not bad, and some are very wearable, but compared to the silk cws this isn’t really close.
I am waiting to see if there is a purple based CW of JQ in a 140 (I haven't seen any posted here & my SA said she would let me know if she gets one), other than that, maybe a 90 in that design will come home with me. I didn't see anything else that was calling my name, although many are the offerings are very beautiful.
I was sure PDS 05 would be my first shawl. But I wear only black and I think the caban will "clash".
I'm thinking about Jaguar Quetzal too : 01 or 07... Must find them and try them on
Jaguar 01 for me too. This and the 05 (deep blue one) are my favorites.
01 looks like the jaguar is sleeping during the day/sunlight, while the blue gives it a nighttime feel. More peaceful. I love both!
Honestly, I don't think it will be particularly flattering (but not unflattering either). However the design is really too darling to pass up.
Does anyone know if the CWs for jaguar are the same for both silk and CSGM? it appears so to me from yodaling's pictures.
Yay, glad you liked it! I do tend to make charts of the designs I really love. I remember about a million years ago when Tohu Bohu first came out someone did a chart and I thought that was a fabulous idea, so I do the same when I can. I did one for the rodeos which I maintained until there were too many to keep to one page. I did love the Samourai. I started the Ode thread, too.
Seems the colors are the same for both formats.
