Don't know why they went so big on the care tag. Invest in some super sharp thin embroidery scissors or the small orange handled "Friskas" ( I think that is what they are called.) You can cut the tiny thread that holds the tags on without harming the hem.

What about a seam ripper? I have one of those. I think that might work too...:wondering:I don’t want to damage my scarves. :flowers:

No matter what color the kitty is on the JQ scarf, it is literally the cuddliest kitty ever. When I look at that kitty face, I just think about my kitties purring themselves to sleep (although Jaguars don't purr). If they did, it definitely would be this one.

I noticed that the scarves that their main color is pink don't seem to have 4 words and the JQ shawl that is the Gray/Navy doesn't seem to have a "category."
I'm sure they can come up with better categories and definitely better shortenings of those categories (MENTHE=méditerranée).

I want to remove the care tags too, but I'm utterly terrified of damaging the fabric.

How does a seam ripper work? I looked up a picture of it. Are those "blades" sharp enough to cut through in one swipe, without pulling at the fabric?

In theory they should just "hook" the thread and not touch anything else. The interior part is very sharp. I may try this on another tag and see if it works, I also have a couple scarves that are less expensive and see if it is easy. I will repost back tomorrow to give an update. I am too scared to use scissors as I now have a silk shirt with a hole because I am clumsy.:blushing:

I must be in the minority, but I really like the Favolosa on you in that CW. I hope they do that one in pocket square....

But I agree with y'all completely about the limited color palette. It's like they picked 4 main colors for a color family and ran it through all the scarf designs instead of seeing what colors would look best with each scarf. And since I'm the kind of person who doesn't like to repeat colors in scarves much less buy multiples, it doesn't encourage people like me to purchase much, since this lovely Favolosa is the same color combination as my JQ scarf. For a person who purchases in a similar fashion, they'd be forced to move to a different scarf in a different color family whether or not any other colors worked for them...

I totally agree with you, bcat! I don’t want the same colors for all the designs. I want variety. I would not buy the above two scarves because they’re too similar. And you’re right, it’s also similar to your JQ. I love this cw of Favolosa but I just thought the fine lines of the design get overpowered - and I really like the design so I think it’s a shame. Oh, well, I am broke this season anyway, so mebbe it’s a blessing in disguise!
