Hi All - have been off the grid since May due to a medical issue and surgery so had a lot of posts to catch up on and just picked up my first Fall/Winter scarf - La Dance De Amazones - shawl as a recovery gift to myself. It is just spectacular. I am not good at modeling but this CW is truly delightful and I can't wait for cooler weather so I can wear it. I am desperately wanting a Dress Codes scarf but not on the US site yet although I do have 2 Dress Code Twillies on their way - one orange and one blue. Thanks for all the great posts and photos!

It's absolutely spectacular. Hope your road to recovery continues on an upward path.

I read through the comments here and realize nobody is that excited about them, but I ordered one of the Froufrou 70 scarves with the ruffled edges. I've been inspired lately by men's fashion from the 17/1800s and thought this might be able to help me play around with some of those elements (frilly neck stuff). I got the Washington's Carriage detail, which was the one I was hoping for the least, but I also know it won't matter once worn. It's quite hard to deal with and fold/tie, but the construction method is very cool...they've used an elastic thread to stitch a three-row pattern of inter-connected circles that makes it scrunch-up and expand quite nicely. The stitches are more noticeable from the back, so 2 of the 3 detail photos are of the reverse side. I don't see myself wearing it a lot, but it's a cool unique piece to play with that very few people will have (maybe for good reason HAHA), so am excited to have it in my collection.

Also...I'm clearly not dressed for it today, but wanted to try it on regardless..tags even still attached  I prefer it tied the second way of the two ways I've tried so far.

I am one of the few that also found this new format intriguing. I think it is wonderful on you, and I truly appreciate the detail photos of the stitching. Seeing the almost smocked stitching affect I am even more tempted by this format. Thank you, and your styling and styling ideas are great!
Thank you all so much for weighing in fellow scarfies! :hugs: I knew you would all understand the problem. So I have let fate decide. I decided to pack them both up, print off return labels and then when I got to the drop off place, I would pick one then. That's how hard this was to choose.

Aaaaaaannnnnddddd.....

As I was packing the blue one back up and folding it, the tag fell off....so now the blue one is mine (for now). I do intend to reassess the situation if ever I find the pink one. When I called back about it, they were all sold out, so I never actually got to try the pink one. Perhaps that would have been the best compromise between colorful background, and pretty feathers...I may never know now. I do like the blue one. The both looked very nice, and it is true I am looking for a red cashmere (because I don't have one) but I think maybe I am looking for very very red, like cherry and not tomato red.
I've been off the grid for a while bunnycat, however, I do love the blue GT on you...I think you will reach for it again and again. I'll add that last season I too was looking for a red cashmere and ended up with Les Plumes CSGM in the red, which I do love, however it is more of an orangey red, not the deeper cherry red, and every time I wear it I see orange. So wait for the right red...I am wondering how the other new GT format of cashmere on one side and silk on the other will be, there is the red one with bandana on one side and Couvetures on the other and the red seems like a deep, blue based red. I know I am tempted :graucho:

My thinking exactly, Bova. I love a red that is more on the blue side, and so I did not get the red Plumes last season. I did get the blue Les Plumes CSGM, but my sensitivity to cashmere has made it unwearable for all but the coldest weather. I had also been eyeing the red double face Couvetures giant triangle with silk on one side, thinking that it might be the answer for me. You just gave me the push to go ahead and place the order.

I personally favored the blue which looked fab on you and which I think you will wear more. So this worked out!! (For me and my preference for you, at least!)

 It sure did! I am anxiously waiting for some cooler weather. These giant cashmere triangles may be a real bonus, as you may not need a heavy chill to wear them comfortably. So I am kind of hoping my instinct is right on that, and if so, that they keep producing them (*in designs that are INTERESTING!...not BdGala.... )

One scarf I recently ordered from H site did not come with a tag. It was meant to be kept
Fate at work!

Oh, Bunny, what a hard decision. I hope you will be happy with it; it looks really gorgeous on you.

Concerning to me is the tag falling off. If it fell off through no fault of yours, you should not be expected to keep it. Hmmm.
Well, I had already called for a return label, and then changed my mind, so though it would have looked very very odd to return it with the tag clearly broken off. It's all good though. :)

Twins! This is a delicious color way.... can't wait to wear mine when it cools off.

Thank you dear Bova! :hugs: Yeah- I'm picky about pink, and I'm apparently even more picky about reds....the right one will come along one day. I do tentatively really like this cashmere triangle (just as I like the giant lozenges from the men's department in theory as well, just not the same old dark colors and men's designs over and over...) and can see it having a longer temperature range for wearability. I'd really like to see a commitment to doing these in real designs, and giving them the attention they deserve. So far, it feels like every "new" or revamped format they make, they give it attention the first release and then it's back to BdeGala...or CetTduJour....over and over...whereas, if they would just release interesting designs with it, and give the colors the attention they deserve, they'd sell better...common sense marketing... ???

I am so glad you love it because I think it is stunning on you. In my opinion, I think the CSGTs and the Silk GTs are the best large formats, because one gets the best of both worlds: a large format with half the silk so much less bulk. So I am definitely with you on H expanding that market and giving us lots of design choices. I really hate to say it but I am definitely rethinking owning CSGMs because of the amount of fabric. Although I adore the designs and cws (Acte III marine/bleu jean) and CU (rose with cobalt and yellow accents), if I don't wear them much, I just can't justify keeping them. But as I said to one of our tPFers in a PM, I am not sure about parting with them at this point.

Thank you dear Karenska :hugs: I agree with you on the giant cashmere triangles. I do like the giant silk one I have (Kachinas) but find they do slide around a lot. Cashmere, by nature, is going to stay put! And that's a good thing. If you like the giant cashmere triangles, you should definitely look at Folklore. If I wasn't already 2 cashmeres in this season, I'd look at one. I adore the Folklore pattern.

I am fine with the regular CSGM also. it does have to be a little bit cooler out to wear it than I think the triangle will.

Yay! I can't wait to see the pictures RBH, I'll be curious to hear how much it slides when worn with the silk side down. Like @bunnycat, I find my silk Kachinas GT to be tricky to wear because of the sliding issue. I really love the CS GT because it doesn't slide and provides enough warmth without the bulk.

You speak the truth on your design analysis bunnycat...I too hope they continue to produce the CS GT in interesting designs. I am tempted to get the Zebra Pegasus you have, however my Folklore is also blue so.....:panic:

Gorgeous. A seriously beautiful colorway. And, once again, proof that you can't even tell there are big letters on the scarf once it is tied. There is just a hint of white ribbon.
Thank you @Redbirdhermes  I rarely allow myself multiple colorways (in an attempt to avoid bankruptcy lol) but this design may have to be an exception..
