Boutique trip. Sorry for the horrible pictures. It isn’t easy to selfie in boutique lol. Duo cw 10 I believe. It is staying in Hermes for me until my cw 2 comes in to compare.
Masan cw 6 was not on my radar but I loved it. It didn’t come home with me due to other priority scarves coming home with me. But it might come home w me later. I like how the basket weave falls Into the background with the blue colors and the graphic white lines shine throughout. Every tie showed the white lines, which I liked. I tried on other colorways but the the wider basket weave pieces seemed intense and bulky. just me I know. Loved how the hem matches the inside violet like blue tone. And they did that on most or all cw’s.

Both are wonderful! The color combo of the orange DP is so unexpected and fabulous… and the CSGM ties beautifully

Still, I have been intrigued and when I had the chance to try this unusual statement shawl in our boutique, I did. Even though my clothes that day did neither fit style- nor colour-wise, I quite liked the look:

As I purchased a CSGM that day with another one still on my WL, I did not pull the trigger but I surprised myself by being thoroughly tempted to do just that...
I appreciate you posting this CW as it is one of the ones I am considering along with the navy… It is fabulous!

Oh so glad to hear you are considering a CSGM… I would begin with a classic design in a versatile CW that you can match to many of your Fall and Winter wardrobe. I feel that Bingata is the best shawl of the season and has been issued in wonderful CWs… But there are some beauties from past seasons still available online and in the boutiques. May be a good idea to try on a few before making your first decision.

And looks amazing on youI read through the comments here and realize nobody is that excited about them, but I ordered one of the Froufrou 70 scarves with the ruffled edges. I've been inspired lately by men's fashion from the 17/1800s and thought this might be able to help me play around with some of those elements (frilly neck stuff). I got the Washington's Carriage detail, which was the one I was hoping for the least, but I also know it won't matter once worn. It's quite hard to deal with and fold/tie, but the construction method is very cool...they've used an elastic thread to stitch a three-row pattern of inter-connected circles that makes it scrunch-up and expand quite nicely. The stitches are more noticeable from the back, so 2 of the 3 detail photos are of the reverse side. I don't see myself wearing it a lot, but it's a cool unique piece to play with that very few people will have (maybe for good reason HAHA), so am excited to have it in my collection.
Also...I'm clearly not dressed for it today, but wanted to try it on regardless..tags even still attachedI prefer it tied the second way of the two ways I've tried so far.
