Does anyone else wonder if Batjlik's Cosmographia Universalis playfully contains elements of other H scarf designs? The elephant (India?), sloth (Equateur?), horseman on an island (Cavaliers du Caucase?), people on pack horses going up a mountain (La Femme?), a unicorn in the middle (Sogne de la Licorne?), among others? It seems like it's how a scarfie's dream would look like if the dreaming were captured in silk. :amuse:

I would have agreed had I not succumbed to an atypically colourful Animapolis 05 today.
It’s a detailed cartoon, and similar in many ways to Zabavushka, comparing the two I found more detail and shading in the Animapolis. And, joy of joys there is reverse saturation ! :yahoo:
The laser debate bugged me for a couple of years,; hate to see the silk screening artisan skill being superseded by a robot , but I’m over it now . I do like the current offerings and I find them more flattering and easy to wear.
Nice to hear. I might come around some day....:-s

Kachinas Wash Silk ?!!!
Oh no... I am doomed... help!
This really confirms what DH said two seasons ago, that H launches a new format (in this case: wash silk) to re print old designs and trap us older collectors/lovers who already have them and are not so much in love with all the new (not really so “ beautiful”) scarfs.
Just a few weeks ago a SA was telling me, referring to the new GM triangle format, that a new format will turn much more expensive if it’s also produce in the following season... just like it happened with the wash silks! Remember the huge price increase from the first season (Pani) to their second one? (Equateur)?
