Presenting Cosmographia CW 06. I bought this partly because I’m still kicking myself for not buying every version of Jardin de Leila way back when, but also because I was intrigued about the colours that are on the scarf but not on the label. The CW is Rose / Rouge / Blanc but it has prominent coral and grey tones. So much so that I photographed it with actual orange to show off the density of colour and also with the most coral scarf I own, Le Laboratoire du Temps. And like LLDT, Cosmographia has hints of lilac, although now very subtle! Final picture is a reverse for the purists...
Very helpful color comparisons! Thank you for showing.

This is a v interesting cw, thank you. It avoids the white/light border. I don't mind the white/light on the (multicolour) rainbow scarves or where it's in-keeping, but not so sure about the otherwise fabulous orange/yellow rainbow JL.
I agree papertiger. I will say for someone that posted here about worries buying aw19 that might have a white hem, I have a Tyger Tyger (several seasons ago) with a white hem, and even after several years and wearing a lot, it still looks great. So if you love a current scarf with a white or light hem, I say go for it!

Even though Animapolis is last season, I’ve already purchased two cw of this season’s Cosmographia because I love it! (i have 3 Animapolis cw’s:P) same reason.

As many scarfies here might tell you, if you find something you love it’s often best to get it when you can. No guarantees in the future we will find what we want exactly! I don’t usually buy multiples of the exact same scarf in a different color, but this season seems to be taking many of us down with many lovely scarves in great cw’s!! Buy what you love.

PS this is a response to chloah, that post didn’t attach.

Here is Jungle Love Rainbow CW06 combined with RdS from an earlier season.
Lovely scarf pairing, @misspink001! They work very well together.

I have the same trouble with white hems, @papertiger, they often feel "unfinished" to me. Light pink or pale blue is fine, though. Just a drop of colour! :amuse:

It’s so interesting that the hem color is so noticeable to some. I never notice the hem color. I look more at the main art and the overall colors of the scarves I like, but never factor in the hem in my decisions. Maybe I do it subconsciously.

Do you mean the hem or the border? I don't think it matters unless the border is quite wide (and therefore very noticeable with most knots) like on JL. I do like the contrast hem on these too, it finishes it off beautifully.

Very pretty! ...But did you also buy the new au bloc version of JdL in CSGM?
For better or worse I have never really been at one with the CSGM, even if I do think they are fabulous. I have only one, worn just the once. I also have just one Leila 90 and still remember looking at the website thinking that I really wanted to buy the other one (or two) available...

Far be it from me to encourage anyone to live beyond their means, but if you are going to be a scarf collector (or should that be hunter?), it’s probably worth making sacrifices.

I don’t know if I’m joking or not!
