Those of you who have both Cosmographia and Animapolis - do you feel they are different enough to justify the purchase? I admire my animapolis but haven't worn it often enough to convince myself that I need to add the cosmographia this season.
I will skip Cosmographia this time. It’s not make me have the passion to bring it home than Animapolis.

I’m feeling the same way! I thought cosmographia Was a must because I was obsessed with animapolis. I ended up went with jungle love rainbow which I was like “nice but okay” in the beginning but then it absolutely spoke to me when I saw it in person. I also thought I would love Pegase but I cant say I’m in love after seeing all the colorway. This is a weird season for me because I feel like all scarves are like a 7-8 or of 10 but not a lot was a 10. Unlike previous seasons...certain designs were a 10/10 for me (jaguar, Grand Prix, animapolis, act 3, kawa ora...).

Presenting Cosmographia CW 06. I bought this partly because I’m still kicking myself for not buying every version of Jardin de Leila way back when, but also because I was intrigued about the colours that are on the scarf but not on the label. The CW is Rose / Rouge / Blanc but it has prominent coral and grey tones. So much so that I photographed it with actual orange to show off the density of colour and also with the most coral scarf I own, Le Laboratoire du Temps. And like LLDT, Cosmographia has hints of lilac, although now very subtle! Final picture is a reverse for the purists...

I finally managed to take some modelling shots of Cosmographia Universalis #05 and have written quite a detailed scarf profile on my blog (I do this for all of my H collection when I can gather enough information):

Here is my outfit today:

You look so happy!

As always, this is a wonderful writeup. Thank you especially for the closeups. Which prompts me to ask, is that elephant in the foreground a reference to Beloved India, anyone think?

I started collecting H silks this year. I have found a wonderful SA. She is holding a scarf for me that I will look at next weekend. (She has held one for me previously, which I did purchase, along with a few others.)

I had emailed asking her if they had it at the shop a week and a half ago. They did, and she put it aside for me, knowing that with my travel it would be two weeks before I could get in.

What is the etiquette regarding having a scarf held? Should you be fairly committed to purchasing it? Also do all SAs perform worldwide searches? She sourced a scarf for me that took about four weeks to come in, but when I mentioned there was another on the Canadian H website I was interested in, she didn't seem to be able to help.

Sorry to digress! Thanks for any advice.

It’s all about communication. You ask for a scarf and you directly say when you can stop by. If the SA is uncomfortable holding it for that long they should say something at that moment. No pressure to purchase. I honestly think it’s when people start playing games (regarding bags) is when SAs get annoyed. Maybe this should get moved to the maintaining a relationship thread.
