Hi all! I was wondering if there was a general guideline LV has to follow with hot stamping? I bought a replacement luggage tag to put on my new speedy, went to collect it today at an Australian store. I really wanted two different colours with a symbol and initials. I got told I couldn’t have two different colours. So I said okay same colour symbol and initials then I got told I could only get one or the other... I was so annoyed I just paid for the tag and left, especially because the SA was being very unhelpful and rude.

I’ve seen so many tags with different colours, or special stamps with initials underneath. Are they unconventional and not usually allowed? I’m so confused and don’t know what to do now... what’s your take?
I got my luggage tags stamped at the LV Toronto flagship store. I wanted the small Maple Leaf and two initials under. They wouldn’t do it; I had to choose so went with my initials.

Did anyone notice that there now is a hotstamping option online( or am I just noticing this )? Has anyone had an experience with this?
And what happens if an item is not up to standard (crooked canvas, missing stitches etc.) when hotstamped online as you can not inspect the item beforehand?

I am headed to London this year and wanted to bring one of my tags to be hot stamped w either the bus or tube symbol. Does anyone know which locations in London have them or if they are even still available?

I did it the other day. Told 5 days. I wasn’t told about it and I had to tell him I wanted the London Bus stamp.

They can do both London stamps on one tag but I decided on the Bus and then my initials underneath and all in gold on a black luggage tag.

They can’t do both London ones and your initials all on one tag and they won’t do the back either.
