I can so relate to this. Also in the Hermes thread I discovered treasures that she made by accident. And I love them!!
Am also very curious to see more antique pieces. How I look forward to that...

I got a new camera for Christmas, really it's true! Anyway, the Swarovski tacky thread reminded me of my vintage Swarovski pendant and earrings. Not an exact matching set, but close!

Sara- gorgeous pieces! I love the sentiment behind your grandfather giving that necklace to your grandmother. I have a heavy 18k bead necklace from Hungary that was my grandmother's and I cherish it.

-Top bracelet...Platinum 1920's bracelet with about 9 carats of Old Mine Cuts and French Cut Sapphires.
-19th Century India earrings with 22k emeralds, rubies and pearls.
-Platinum Ring- the side shot was before I set the 1.90 transition cut in the center. It is a crystal clear SI1 but shows some color (J-K).

japster-- I love the dangle earrings! are the sapphire pair set in RG, or is that just the light? I also have new SS pearls set similarly to your antique natural pearls. is the bezel/gypsy set top portion new & attached to the older bottom portion with the pearls? also, the sapp bracelet is 2D4...it's my birthstone...would make a great gift for me! :p:roflmfao: teeheehee! the platinum ring is amazing...I love the color in the center stone.

Oh Japster!!! How unique and cool are all these pieces!!! I am especially in love with the dangling earrings with the heavy pearls. They are stunning. Also the ring with the gorgeously warm stone. I would want to wear a ring like that every day:nuts: The bracelet also drives me crazy. So refined and delicate and the motive/design is sooooo pretty. Thanx for sharing. Do you wear these pieces often Japster?
