japster-- I love the dangle earrings! are the sapphire pair set in RG, or is that just the light? I also have new SS pearls set similarly to your antique natural pearls. is the bezel/gypsy set top portion new & attached to the older bottom portion with the pearls? also, the sapp bracelet is 2D4...it's my birthstone...would make a great gift for me! :p:roflmfao: teeheehee! the platinum ring is amazing...I love the color in the center stone.

The dangle earrings are not rose gold--- they just seem to be reflecting something. The pearl earrings are original- they are very off round/goofy shaped pearls but held their luster excellent over time. They have a slight pink-purple orient.

japster.......... F&F wasn't exagerating when she said you jewelry was unbelievable! I LOVE the Sapphire & seed pearl dangle earrings from the 1920's or 30's. The Platinum, Diamond & natural pearl earrings are also gorgeous! Now, lets discuss THAT Bracelet! It is truly a work of art..........Platinum, from the 1920's, with Old Mine Cut Diamonds, and French Cut Sapphires! What a piece of jewelry!!!!!!!!!! I have some photos of bracelets like it, but.......they're rhinestones! The earrings you have from 19th Century India with Emeralds, Rubies and Pearls .........good grief.........beautiful! Now, on your Platinum Diamond Ring.........I don't have the words!!!!!!! I so love the mixture of Platinum and 18K gold on the Earrings, that have Old Mine Cut and Rose Cut Diamonds. Is the Gold.... yellow or Rose? These pieces should be documented, and put in a book. I have several Vintage Jewelry Books, but only for Miriam Haskell jewelry, or Vintage Rhinestone Jewelry.......because I was researching the pieces that my beautiful Mother left me. Thank you for sharing these treasures!!!!!!! :cloud9:

I actually prefer pearls with imperfections because there is no doubt that they are natural. I love the color of them too!

I know I'm greedy, but if you have the time in the next few weeks, please post more. I just knew you would have the most amazing pieces.

about the indian earrings...they are so gorgeous & also look quite contemporary. I love it when designs come back into style (I have earrings in a similar style that are silver...nothing to compare to these). are they very heavy? they look substantial especially with all of those pearls.

The Indian earrings aren't too heavy but the pearls are not in good shape, which ironically doesn't show up in the pic. They have really dulled and are not such a sexy color.

This is the pic that didn't show up earlier:

-19th Century India earrings with 22k emeralds, rubies and pearls.
-Platinum Ring- the side shot was before I set the 1.90 transition cut in the center. It is a crystal clear SI1 but shows some color (J-K).

Japster, your pieces are simply to die for. The bracelet takes my breath away.
The workmanship is spectacular - I LOVE them all:smile1: Lucky you to have such a fabulous collection.

what a pity! Those earrings are still gorgeous though. Do you guys know whether it's possible to enhance the shine on dulled out pearls?

My father bought this bracelet for my mother on a small market. The bracelet is handmade and consists of little flowers; each flower is different. I don't know the material of this bracelet but a few years ago my jeweler gave it a silver bath/layer.

I normally cannot wear bracelets normally as I find them unpractical. This bracelet is really comfortable though and I wear it quite often.

Beautiful bracelet, Monica!!!!!!!!

Thanks Tillie, F&F and It'sanaddiction!! You are so sweet!!
My bracelet became really nasty after a jeweler didn't clean it well. It completely eroded into black. After the layer of silver was applied, it was too white. Lol! Now it's perfect again.
