tillie-- thank you! my grandma gave that ring to my mom, & mom gave it to me for my birthday. I have always loved it. now I just need to get great grandmother's yellow diamond!:graucho: (yes, that is my christmas mani! SIL painted the red with silver tips.)

Monica-- I am VERY grateful to have the antique tibetan pieces that I have...they are truly treasures! I have another extremely cool necklace, but it was thread with string which broke recently. I will re-string it & post pics. I didn't go to the gem/jewelry show this past september (trying to limit my spending), & I really regret it.

^^F&F........... More rings...........! I love the ring from your Great Grandmother, it's beautiful, and how special that it was hers. And, your Vintage flower ring is adorable! I love your manicure....I know it's the one you and your SIL did at Christmas.....

:D LOL! I agree with every word from Tillie! How special to receive a ring that used to be from your great grandmother! And what a refined and modern taste she must have had. I love the black flower as well. It's very Chanel.

Fortunately my father buys a lot of large Estates and specializes in old Edwardian/Art Deco era jewelry. I have a rather nice collection of pieces because I can rarely resist them. lol. Here are a few-as you can see I love earrings.

Left is: 14k Seed Pearl, Sapphire Earrings circa 1910 , Right is with Platinum 1.0ctw diamonds and natural pearls

please post at least 5 pics here every day! you will make me the happiest girl in the world!!!:p

I think the last pair (in the shape of a flower) are my favorites from this batch. pleeeeease post more!!!!!:flowers:

japster, your jewelry is breathtaking! That is one of my favorite periods because of the intricacy of the design and work involved. Wear them in good health!

I hoe this works. i could not figure out how to take an inside pic with my daughter's camera so i resorted to the old iphone.
the diamond watch was given to my mother by my father when I was born. It originally had a black silk cord but she changed it to a diamond band in the 60's maybe. It has tremendous sentimental value to me. (and no, they were not called *push presents* then since ladies were knocked out and didn't know from pushing LOL). the watch on the slide chain , i bought over 40 years ago with money i was given by my grandmother so i would always have a special piece to remember her by. the full figured cameo is pink gold and was my very first piece of real jewelry. i always did and still do love cameos and collected them. the platinum/diamond/sapphire pin was also given to me by my mother. very poor quality pic but a lovely piece. i have other pieces but do not know where i hid them so if i can i will find them and post.

GRRR only some of them would post.
