Dear Monica...My work requires me to wear gloves. The sharp points of the ring keep tearing my gloves so it's just for the night out. I always get compliment on this ring.

Dear Tillie46... I love matching earrings and brooch. Usually I'm trying to match my earrings and pendant. Earrings and a brooch are great combo.

Monica.........this is me wearing the jewelry in the first photo I posted. It's a black Balenciaga dress.........very simple......and the brooch is on the shoulder.......and I'm wearing the earrings. We had gone out for a nice dinner at a beautiful restaurant.

You didn't tell me you are a princess!!! You are so beautiful. Love the brooch on your shoulder!!!

My husband gave me the silver turquoise ring when we adopted our first baby. Tomorrow I will also post the ring that he gave me when we adopted the second (the second is a tibetan ring).

The other ring below is a Tibetan sadle ring that was actually worn by men. My husband bought it for me when we were in India together at the beginning of our relationship.

^^Monica.............I love both rings! and I can't wait to see the new one you got from DH. How special to have the saddle ring remind you of a special occasion.......like when you and your Husband were together in India at the beginning of your relationship! And a ring to celebrate the adoption of your first child............can't wait to see the ring you got for the adoption of your second child

Thank you Tillie46! Here is my other Tibetan ring; turquoise and coral are very often used for traditional jewelry. My husband bought this one in a small Tibetan shop.
Also the bracelet he bought for me during a holiday in the USA. I do not wear bracelets very often and I didn't clean it before making this picture. Owwww.

Monica-- they are beautiful pieces...love them!!! I didn't realize that you don't live in the US. where did you find the tibetan pieces?

Thank you for your sweet compliment f&f!!!
My husband loooooves tibetan jewelry, but also other pieces (a belt buckle or old lock etc.). We bought our pieces in India (where a lot of Tibetans live who sometimes sadly need to sell their jewelry). But also in Amsterdam, Milan or the USA (Philadelphia and New York). Old Tibetan pieces are getting very rare now; in the small stores where we used to find our pieces, mainly new pieces are sold now.

this was my great grandmother's ring. I don't know much about it...I need to get it appraised. it is a simple art deco style which I love...platinum setting.

^^Monica.......... I love the other Tibetan Ring your husband bought you. The Turquoise is beautiful, and I love the little coral stones on the sides. The bracelet is sooooo beautiful, and so intricate. I didn't know anything about Tibetan jewelry.....and especially that it's getting so rare! Now......it makes me want some!

^^F&F........... More rings...........! I love the ring from your Great Grandmother, it's beautiful, and how special that it was hers. And, your Vintage flower ring is adorable! I love your manicure....I know it's the one you and your SIL did at Christmas.....
