Hi!

I have been eyeing a gold Garden Party 30 and was wondering if the bag is heavy at all? I'm assuming because it's leather there's a possibility it is?

Also, I noticed it doesn't have any feets on the bottom - does that become a bother?

Sorry if this was asked before - I'd appreciate any insight or direction on where to find this info. Thanks in advance!
I have a GP30 in Nagonda leather and I don’t find it heavy with just daily essentials. It is a hand held or elbow open tote type bag so it could possibly be heavy after filling it. It’s a casual bag with two leather stripes at the bottom instead of feet so I have been using it quite comfortably. I use an organizer inside

Hi hi! I have a gold GP30 and it can get pretty heavy once filled (depends on how much you carry). Admittedly, I do stuff quite a bit of items (iphone 13 pro, card holder, 6-key holder, sunnies with case, hand lotion, sunscreen, 2 lippies, small comb, hand sanitizer, mirror, and a foldable re-useable bag  -- fits way more than I thought). I use a Zoomoni insert too!

I usually hold it by the handles or carry on my wrist/arms and after a couple of hours, this can leave marks on your arms. While shopping with my DH, I had him hold it for me as I tried on clothes and he was actually surprised by the weight of it.

No feet on the bottom, but it doesn't bother me as I don't usually put it on the floor; I usually have it on another chair or behind me on the chair if there's no other seat. Hope this helps!

As it is lined in fabric, not leather, it is very lightweight. I have no issue with the lack of feets. The GP30 is a great bag and I am sure you won't regret getting one!

I have that bag in Negonda, and don't find it heavy at all, even when the bag is full. I'm not carrying bricks around, but for keys, phone, wallet, brush, bottle of water, its fine. Not a bother without the feet, but then, I don't put bags down on dirty/wet surfaces, even when they have feet.

Thank you all so much for your detailed and thoughtful responses! I think I'll go ahead and ask my SA for one and just be mindful of packing it to the brim

Hi I’ve been considering asking for a garden party 30 to add to my collection. I can be really indecisive though and not sure if I want one in leather or canvas. For those of you who have bought one could I get your opinions on it? I would use it as more of an everyday bag, maybe when shopping, running errands, or going out to lunch!

I just got mine last Friday and using it for the first time today. So far so good no complaints. Mine is all leather. It’s not heavy and it fits a lot! I’m looking forward to using it as an everyday bag :smile:IMG_3305.jpeg

Definitely get the leather. I have one in craie and one in black in size 36. These are my year round everyday work bags and I have been using them for years. They are a good value and not too heavy. I feel the canvas is too casual.

I have the Negonda 30 and the Negonda 36. If I am not wearing a heavy coat, I prefer the 36 for shopping because I can comfortably get it on my shoulders. If I were to buy another GP, I would buy the 36 leather. I like to use the 30 when I go for brunch or church wherever I go, where I am not carrying my bag a lot for work, and every day, I prefer the 36 leather version for work and everyday haul. I think the canvas in the 30 and the 36 are excellent options, and I would not be opposed to a canvas version. I hope that helps.

Hey thank you all that is very helpful! I think I might ask for the 30 in leather as an everyday bag and maybe also down the line ask for the 36 canvas as a work bag just since it’s been mentioned that the 36 leather is very heavy!
