I was torn too, between both sizes until I tried lifting up a 36 full leather. It’s heavy although empty. That was a deal breaker for me. Happy with 30 but I would consider a 36 canvas, if the colour is right.

I stopped using the 30 (usually it’s on the crook of my left arm) since I have tennis elbow on my right. I’m back to a shoulder bag.

If you can try both sizes, you would know which works best.

I am torn between the 30 and 36. I found a gorgeous 30 in my dream color, but wonder if it will be too small on my 5'9 frame. Does anyone have photos they would care to share of them with their 30/ and or 36???? Thank you in advance!!!!

It's not just height that determines whether a bag looks right on someone's frame.

IME, the curvier the lady, often the better a smaller size can look regardless of height. Whereas I (med height) tried a 30 and looked all wrong, like I was carrying someone else's bag (my kid sister's - if I had one).

Try though, one person's heavy is not another's. We are NOT talking Birkin heavy here. I reg carry an all-leather VC to work and it's not that heavy for me.

You are absolutely right! When my SA receives any I will see what the commotion is about - either way love the bag itself.

Thank you!! So, the 36 could definitely be used as a work tote! Now, I have CARRIED this to work. However, I barely put anything in it. As that I am still scared to use it lol. Which is wearing off lol, but this definitely would be a great work tote, travel bag, mommy bag, and more. Definitely many available options on how to use this bag. And since the leather is heat treated it definitely makes it more hardwearing, and less prone to scratches! The current price without taxes calculated in is, $3,600 for the 30 in full leather, and $3,800 for the 36! The canvas option with leather trim is around $2.3k, I think! Hope this helps!

I love the bag! Is that Rouge H? The contrast stitching is great! I usually tie a twilly on one handle just for decoration. Also I have found that the handles of a Garden Party made with Negonda leather are unusually soft and my twilly tends to keep coming loose. I rotate my bags often and don't worry too much about protecting the handles. I am just mindful of keeping all of my Hermes bags away from anything that could stain them and not setting them down on any unclean surface - especially the GP as it has no metal feet.

Gorgeous addition to you H collection! I dont currently own a GP but it is my understanding twillies are more for decoration/assessory. There is a thread on inserts but I just purchased an samorga insert (pricey) and awaiting arrival. Think I saw some say etsy has durable ones as well. Enjoy your new GP!

I have three GPs and I use MaiTai inserts in them, mainly to protect the cloth lining.

I use Mai Tai inserts for my GP. I like the 7 rue paradis but they are more structured which I don’t personally find works well with birkin or GP and costs significantly more than Mai Tai.

I purchased this 36 epsom gp in rose bubblegum(?) for travel. I’m on the fence about this pink and the feel. I’m a pink person but this one is pepto-pink! Ive also discovered that I don’t like epsom! I thought it would feel more like Chanel’s caviar and this one doesn’t come close to my caviars feel! It feels rough like canvas! I’m sure I can make it work this summer since I wear white and florals . I like the size!
