is the 30 an easy size to carry around on a day to day basis? I wonder cause it's a top handle only tote? What are your experiences with the GP 30?

I have a number of both the 30s and the 36s. The 36 holds an enormous amount and would hold a smaller laptop or iPad. Of course the more you put in the heavier it will be. It can go over my shoulder but it's rather bulky. But it is an option unless you are wearing a heavy coat. The leather ones have the internal zippered side pocket to store valuables such as a wallet.

I LOVE the 30s though. So cute and yet for its size it holds quite a bit as well. As it is a small bag it generally doesn't get heavy, especially if it's in Negonda leather which is very light. I normally carry a wallet, iPhone, two glasses cases, a tote bag, brush, and small pouch with essentials and there is still room. It of course will fit over the wrist but not the shoulder. But even with all of those items I find it quite comfortable to carry. In fact I put it on my wrist when I push my grocery cart and it is quite comfortable. I know GPs don't have the cache of a Birkin -and I like my Birkins - but the GP 30 is just such a good looking, cute, practical, stress-free bag. I prefer the all leather as the 30s also have the zippered pocket in the lining to secure your valuables. So IF you are ok with a bag that does not have a shoulder-carry option then I would say it is really fabulous. And these days, surprisingly hard to find at Hermes.

Has anyone seen a gp 36 with straps recently? I got its twin-garden file 28 with straps but need something a bit bigger sometimes. Also, does that size with straps only come in canvas?

This is my MacBook Pro 13" inside my GP 36 with my Samoga bag insert. Still plenty of space for my wallet/key/makeup pouch etc. But you can see that a 15"MacBook won't fit unless you open up the sides. And a thick laptop sleeve on a 13" will not fit either.

Please help me understand this. Your computer is 33 cm, I would think it would fit with 2 or 3cm to spare.

I am hoping to buy a canvas GP36 for my Dell (14 inches wide and thicker than a Mac. Do you think my Dell would fit?
We do not have a boutique in my town to give it a try and I would be buying preloved.

Congratulations to @TheBagGuru @ShoppingGalSF1 and @anniebee123 all such stunning bags

For those asking and sharing:

I have taken my GP to work many times. More on days when I'm caring an iPad or smaller devices rather than my work laptop. Not because the GP isn't strong (it's very strong) but because my laptop's very heavy and thin, I don't like what it does (or would do) do the bottom of the bag (36). I could always reinforce the base or perhaps use an insert to spread the load but I have a purpose built leather Liberty x Apple laptop case anyway so they'd be little point for me. iPad, notebooks, files etc, no problem at all.

There was the 36 with all the outside pockets, pretty sure you'd have to buy preloved.

There was also the Shoulder GP, look through the thread, I don't think it was 36 though.

Sorry for the late reply as I just read this. The leather base of the bag is exactly 36 cm, measured from the outside of the bag. With the side button closed, the thickness of the leather and the way the leather curved in from the side, my 13" MacBook Pro, without a case, can just fit into my GP36. ( as can be seen from the photo). Can't comment on the canvas GP as I don't have one myself.

After months of unsuccessful visits to four stores in the northeast, I was fortunate to be offered this gorgeous 30 while in FL.

Blue Billard with Alezan, colors that had not been on my radar but so far every Twilly I have tried looks great with it!

Beautiful bag. I’m dreaming of one . How’s the canvas holding up? Is it easy to spot clean? that’s the only thing holding me back.

I used it most of the summer (with a MaiTai liner) and it pretty much still looks new. I am not particularly hard on my bags, though, and post Covid lockdown I feel like I maybe don’t go out and about dining or shopping as much as I used to…

The liner saved me when my travel mug tipped over and spilled (water) while I was transporting it from the car inside.

I will try to take a photo soon. What color do you have your eye on?
