My GP36 is ready for Spring with my new rodeo[emoji5]
Dear expatwife, I am considering a GP and am weighing the pro and con at the moment. Could you please share your reason to sell? It would really help me deciding!

I’m looking to buy my first Hermes item and the GP 36 fits the bill for what I need! I’m looking for a tote bag that I can use for work to carry laptops, etc. I already have an LV Neverfull in Damien Ebene but am looking for something for spring/summer.
I’d really love to get a B eventually, but want to get more familiar with H leathers and top handled before I commit. So I thought a colorful GP would be perfect!! (And I can save the neutral gold or etoupe color for a B eventually).
I’m debating between Rose Jaipur Epsom (not a preferred leather) and Orange Poppy (country cowhide). I love the H orange, and am also a fan of corals. But I haven’t seen either IRL and worry that for a large bag, these two colors are too bright? I like pops of color but don’t want anything neon....

Regarding colors, I haven't seen Orange Poppy in Country Cowhide, but I do have SLGs in both Rose Jaipur and Orange Poppy, both in Epsom. They are close in color, but comparing the two, Orange Poppy leans more orange, and is a bit brighter, while Rose Jaipur leans a bit more pink versus orange, and is a bit more subdued. Neither seems neon to me, and both are very pretty.
Regarding leather type, a few things to consider. Epsom is lighter in weight, has a bit of sheen, but is harder to refurbish. Country Cowhide is heavier, more matte out of direct sun, but has a bit of sheen in bright light, and refurbishes well. For a large tote that will likely get bumped around a bit, I'd tend to value durability and refurbish-ability
versus one that's lightweight, but harder to refurbish .Hope this helps a bit, good luck with your decision!
I would go for Orange Poppy ! Even though it is bright in a larger size, it will tone down overtime as your eyes get used to it and that the color will soften as well with use.
That’s the only I’m leaning towards too! It also has the special H print inside, rather than the plain canvas lining which I think is neat.

New job means new bag! Finally able to join the GP club! I present GP36 in bleu indigo.
Quick question as well...Is a felt insert enough to keep the bag from sagging? I have two inserts. One of them fit loosely and one of them kinda fits all the way around and somewhat snug. From you guys' experiences, do you have any opinion which one will keep the GP in shape in the long run? I posted photo fro references. (i apologize for my feet).

I use my GP for work and love it but it’s really not ideal for a laptop, since it’s a bit heavy and the straps don’t fit easily over shoulder... that said I think it’s a fantastic under the radar tote. I prefer and have Country cowhide leather

Sorry I don’t use an insert ... my country cowhide GP 36 only has a little sag after 2 plus years of heavy use
Thanks!! Mine is negonda and I know it is more prone to getting softer with use. I actually like the slouchy look but I just don’t want the bottom to sag too much.
