Hi,
There are several orange color you can order online. They have epsom and negonda I believe. If you go in a store they have some out . If they are away it's most likely they don't have room and just ask to bring out what they have. NYC store is great that way. DC store they were all out.

Thank you so much for your advise. I have seen the few they have online but I really want to buy my first Hermes in the actual store. Feels like it'd be a little more special. I live in NJ so getting to the NYC store won't be too difficult or the one at Short Hills Mall.

I was just in the NYC flagship store and they could not have been nicer. They have green and blue and not sure about orange. They probably won't give you much info over the phone. Ask for Louis. He was so nice. At least you can see the leathers in person. See what colors they have online then ask to see them in another product in the store. Also keep in mind colors look different in different leathers. I decided not to get the bag because it didn't have feet and really couldn't narrow down the combo. It's really really cute though. It's worth going into the city if you can swing it. I tried on two bracelets and they are next on my list!

Oh that is great to have a name of someone to ask for - thank you. I'm due to head up to Madison Ave in a couple of weeks so I'll definitely pop in to at least look around.

Hello - brand new to the Hermes forum but I've been stalking the Hermes Website for a few years now and believe that I'm finally ready to pull the trigger and buy my first handbag.

I think that the Garden Party 30 is a perfect place to start. I want a fun color that pops so thinking that something in the orange family or red would be nice.

Any recommendations on exact colors or leathers to request are most welcome!

Thank you in advance.

Vache is a good leather for a GP30. It is structured and keeps its shape. I recommend you look in person though. To me a GP30 feels like a B30 feels when the B30’s top is open. GP30 is also a similar size and is arm-carried. GP30 is also more under the radar. If you like a GP30 I think it’s a good indication a B30 would work well for you next (in case you want to head down that path).

I just got a GP36 in vache yesterday! I thought the vache was the perfect middle ground leather - the texture of the negonda with the structure of epsom. I’m planning on using it as a work bag! View attachment 4019036View attachment 4019037
Your GP36 looks very nice with your outfit and I like the color. The structure looks good too. I have a GP36 in Negonda and it’s definitely more floppy.

Thank you very much for the recommendation. Is Vache leather the same as Country or different? Sorry - still learning.
