Sure. Here’s a pic. It’s a tote and I don’t baby it. I think it’s easier to baby a gp30 than a gp36.ohhhhhh they have this one in the store but didn't like the leather. I do love it but wonder if prone to getting marks and getting dirty? LOL, ok I will show them. They are just so snobby I don't want to give DC my business. All younger women. Guess my $ no good to them lol. Do you have a front view of this bag? LOVE the contrast stitching!!!!!Thanks again for your tips/advice!
No history check for garden party....Hello all! This is my first post in the Hermès thread, I'm usually over in the LV side of things. I have two darling Twilly scarves which I love, but have now set my sights on a Garden Party. I'm curious, is the process of buying a GP as difficult or convoluted as buying a B/K/C? I know they're available online, so I've partially answered my own question, but I'm looking specifically for the size 30 in black toile canvas, which I don't see online. My question is, if I go into the boutique and ask for this bag, will they pull my (limited) purchase history before deciding if they can help me order one? Or is it relatively easy? Thank you all!![]()
I am looking for one as well but have not gone through with it because I can't find the perfect blue. I know you can go into a store and the GP bags they have are on display. You can also call around to other stores (if they will talk to you on phone) and if they have it they will send it to you. NYC talked to me on the phone and told me the colors they had. They did have a black last week. Not sure about ordering one for you, sorry I can't help with that. These bags are their bread and butter . They sell tons of them and keep getting new ones in the store. Keep checking online because the neutrals come and go. Have not seen black yet online. Good luck!Hello all! That I don't know. Do you live near a store? Call the NYC flagship store. A male SA was so helpful.Hooray, thank you! If the bag isn't in stock, though, will they order one for me?

I didn't look for canvas sorry just reread that. NYC had black leather. New Yorkers love black (as do I) so I imagine they will always have them. That's really helpful, thank you so much! About a year ago, before the site was redesigned, I remember seeing the black in both full leather and the canvas option. I'm heading to Portugal this fall and am hoping to try my luck there. I was just in Paris last week but didn't have the energy to deal with the boutiques there.
Thanks for responding and being so helpful! I am little discouraged by what little experience I have with this brand. I walk into Chanel, YSL, Ferragamo, LV and feel totally taken care of and the SA's always pleasant. At my local Hermes, by the time someone talked to me I was so uncomfortable I didn't ask all the right questions. They had two bags I was interested in when I went. The GP 30 in BE Negonda and the gris asphalt in Clemence. I called back to find out if they received any additional bags and they would only tell me if I named a specific color. They have gold too and the leather was unfamiliar to me. I fell in love with the BE. However, I tend not to wear my good bags in the summer because we are at the beach so much and I usually stick to bags that can take wear and tear of heat, etc. Anyway, so many blues I love but only BE around locally. I called Hermes in NYC because we are visiting in a few weeks and as of now they only have gold and vertigo (green). Question, by slouching of Negonda do you mean while bag is at rest on a table? It will start to sag? I wonder if certain leathers are more popular in certain regions. Thanks again. Still stumped on color. I love the gold but have so many LV'S and the color category the same. I have a black Burberry, black Celine Luggage tote and Channel Classic flap and WOC. . So def no more black!
Hi. I have an epsom and no, it is not super stiff but it gives it a WONDERFUL structure so that it doesn't fall down and slouch when you place it down. I used to have stuff spill out of the bag when it got used a lot and it started softening up. As a matter of fact, my prior GPs were in clemence and I sold them all when I got the Epsom because I like it so much better. The sides stay up no matter how often I use it, and my stuff stays secure.Hi there, Does anyone have experience with gp36 Epsom leather? Is it very stiff?
