Blue indigo epsom in size 30. Love!

Hi everyone, I’m venturing into H bags after collecting scarves for 2 years. I’m really interested in a GP TPM right now and I want one in the Vache Country leather after reading all about it in this thread. Right now the selection on H.com is either Negonda or Country Cowhide. Can anyone tell me if the Country Cowhide is the same as Vache Country? I can’t find any info anywhere online...

Thank you in advance!

Yes, they are the same. In the US it’s usually called country cowhide... I have a GP 36 in country cowhide and love it!

Went to my local store and saw this pretty BI GP36 with Camail interior print. Love the uniqueness but not sure of the leather (Negonda) and also I am in no need for a new bag currently.

Model pix. For reference I’m 170cm and a UK12 (wishing I cld be a UK10 lol).

Yay or Nay?

I say yay so long as you like the beautiful casual look of Negonda, I  the lining

Hello Garden Party fans! I’m interested in purchasing the 30cm size Garden Party, but want a more structured bag, so for leather I’m considering both Country and Epsom. For those of you who own this size, in either leather, could you share your thoughts? Here are my concerns:

Carrying a normal amount of items, I’d rather the bottom didn’t sag. And over time, I’d prefer it didn’t slouch much vertically. I like that Epsom is lighter, and I like its finer grain, but am concerned about corner wear, and that it can’t easily be refurbished. Country Leather, although heavier in weight, and with larger grain, may be a better choice for me, as long as it keeps its shape.

I’d appreciate hearing your experience with your 30cm bag, in either Country or Epsom, and how it's aged. Thank you! :flowers:

I have a Birkin in epsom and a GP36 in VC and I love both. I have been caught in Asian rainy seasons with both and they survived beautifully. I find they both maintain their structure well but in terms of being carefree, I am just a little more cautious with the epsom because repairs in epsom are limited so I bear that in mind whereas I don't give that a second thought with VC.

Best of luck!

Edit: Papertiger's assessment is spot on.

Yay, love the lining, and beautiful on you. Love GP, a chic and light tote. And you know, I never need another bag, scarf, bracelet... too :graucho:

Yay, I tried on the bag two weeks ago and it didn't look good on me, but it looks good on you. The size 30 fit my style but it was in a heavier fabric and it was $3675 in that size. On me, the negonda 36 looked like a wash woman's bag, not flattering at all.
