Sharing my GP30 in vert vertigo. Couldn't resist the colour even though I'm not a fan of negonda leather (prefer more structured ones)!
So stunning! How does this color compare to bamboo? From the pictures, bamboo appears to be more of a Kelly green, and vert vertigo closer to emerald green? I am trying to decide among bamboo, vert vertigo and malachite. After seeing this picture, it looks like Vert Vertigo is the winner:)

Yes you are pretty much spot on! Bamboo is a tad brighter (with more yellow tone) in my view. Vert Vertigo seems to change shades according to lighting and its just so beautiful (to me)! I definitely prefer vert vertigo amongst these 3 shades :)

Hello Garden Party fans! I’m interested in purchasing the 30cm size Garden Party, but want a more structured bag, so for leather I’m considering both Country and Epsom. For those of you who own this size, in either leather, could you share your thoughts? Here are my concerns:

Carrying a normal amount of items, I’d rather the bottom didn’t sag. And over time, I’d prefer it didn’t slouch much vertically. I like that Epsom is lighter, and I like its finer grain, but am concerned about corner wear, and that it can’t easily be refurbished. Country Leather, although heavier in weight, and with larger grain, may be a better choice for me, as long as it keeps its shape.

I’d appreciate hearing your experience with your 30cm bag, in either Country or Epsom, and how it's aged. Thank you! :flowers:

The following is all in theory as I don't own any Epsom and I'm out of touch with which colours are available in which leathers/sizes currently.

As you know I've had my VC GP quite a while. It's 36 and not your preferred of 30 but it's held its shape very well and still looks as new. Then again I keep a leather pouch (DH's wash bag) to keep all those little things in and it acts as a base-shaper. I put my wallet in the zipped pocket. It's a wide pocket but I wouldn't want to make it bulge. A 30 in VC wouldn't be as heavy as a 36, it's a much smaller bag altogether.

I don't own any Epsom bags to compare but I have tried them and it is so much lighter. If the priority is for an ultra lightweight structured bag then I would recommend the Epsom. A 30 wouldn't get knocked around like a 36 either so you may find it gets less corner wear than you may imagine, the 30 is used more like a handbag rather than a shopper, however if the thought of any noticeable wear fills you with dread then go with the VC.

They have the same brightness and intensity, Bambou is very slightly lighter and VV yes, slight blue cast, closest to Emerald as I've seen from H. They are very close though.

papertiger, thanks so much for your reply. Very helpful to hear your thoughts and your experience with Vache Country. Great to hear how well your GP is holding up! I love both the color of your bag and its adorable quadrige lining! Right now I'm leaning towards Vache Country, and as the 30 is a small bag, hopefully weight isn't really much of an issue. Now to find out what's available! Many thanks again. :flowers:

Hi everyone, I’m venturing into H bags after collecting scarves for 2 years. I’m really interested in a GP TPM right now and I want one in the Vache Country leather after reading all about it in this thread. Right now the selection on H.com is either Negonda or Country Cowhide. Can anyone tell me if the Country Cowhide is the same as Vache Country? I can’t find any info anywhere online...

Thank you in advance!
