I would suggest not to go too dark on a TPM because it will look really small on a black or etoupe. With TPM, it is okay to go brighter like reds and blues. They are just the right size for a pop color.

Too bad the US prices are so high as compared with EU or I would have helped you get one here. There are plenty of GPs here in the US in all sizes but they are higher prices !!
Hi fellow bag lovers!
I bought the TPM GP in Hot Red last October 2104. I also have a Picotin 18 in Rose Jaipur, a Toile GP in 30, and a Gold Evelyne III PM. After having owned all four bags for awhile now, I find I almost never reach for the TPM. I bet I've carried it less than 10 times. The Evelyne is my favorite and suits my lifestyle & look the most.
While I'm not trying to sell here of course (I'm a Fashionphile or Yoogis gal) I'm really thinking of selling. Of course only I can know if I'd regret it, but I think I'd rather have a fun pop of color with another Evelyne and would get more use out of that style bag.
For those that have the TPM, or similar hand held smallish bag (It's actually not that small-anything that holds my iPad mini is a mid-size bag, IMO) how do you use yours? Are most of your bags hand held and that is your preference, or is this a lunch date bag for you?
BTW, I realize the PIcotin is super small and hand carry, but I bought that one pre-owned and didn't spend nearly as much on it, so it bothers me less that it's not one of my more used bags. In any case, between the two, I like the picotin more.
I can't hem and haw with anyone in "real life" about this. No one in my live understands bag angst. lol

I have three GP 30's and one GP 36...i use my GP30's all the time. I like that it is small but can actually fit a lot of stuff and not feeling too heavy. I don't carry my GP 36 often as it is a lot heavier. If i came across nice color, i would not hesitate to add another GP30 to my collection! 😉
KimTX, try to use it a few more times and see...maybe you will like it more!
I have three GP's, all size 36. I've looked at the tpm several times and can never quite bite the bullet, for two reasons: the small size and the fact that I'd have to hand carry it. I have a PM Evelyne, so I can do that size, so I think it really comes down to the lack of a shoulder strap. Apparently, long ago they made a canvas version of the tpm that had a detachable shoulder strap -- if they made that in all leather, I think I'd be all over it!
So really, I'm no help at all! But if you can do the hand-carry small bag and always reach for your Pico instead of the Evie, that probably tells you something. If I were you, I'd try using it a couple more times and if you're not feeling the love, sell and get something that works better for you.
