If I’m gonna be real nitpicky and macro-zoom, you can see some fine lines. (Those white spots are dirts and not peeling leather. Forgot to wipe before taking the pics...oops. :lol:) These don’t bother me since I think they kinda blend with the distressed calf quilts. Also, I never actually look at my bags this close. (Look at the size of the stitches!) I imagine if I zoom this close to my own skin, it possibly look like this too! :biggrin:

The bottom has more fine lines and wrinkles, of course, since the Gabrielle doen’t have any feet. But again, not quite noticeable.

... unless I try brightening up to same photo until my hand is blindingly white then you can start to see that it’s not pristine. Personally I feel leather doesn’t always have to be porcelaine smooth, though, so I don’t really mind unless there is any deep and glaringly visible scratches. But I do understand if it bothers some people. I guess it depends on your personal preference. :smile:

The small gabrielle . Just carries essential. Its like a step up if u need more space than woc.
Maybe a medium or large may suit ur need for an everyday bag.

personally the best size for a everyday bag for me is the reissue 227(i like the leather it has more give than d caviar) -it has different compartments. - like the back part i can put some folded forms/papers that wont get mixed with my wallet and makeup etc. And the flap opening is nice so that u wont be digging and feeling for ur stuff that i think happens with d hobo.

The small gabrielle has so many possibilities. It can be an evening bag. Crossbody. A cute backpack. They said a fanny pack - which im still figuring out.

The bag is super-practical and it is perfect for everyday use...mine has some minor scratches on the base, but i own it since march 2017.
Advice from a guy wearing Chanel... :biggrin:

I loved the reissue and i think it is the idea Chanel bag for me. I’m thinking of getting it in size 226 (black / shw) because 227 might be too heavy for me. But the reissue is not available .

For now, as i loved the small Gabriele and looked nice on me , I went and got it.

I got the small one it looks much better on me than the medium. Also , I don’t wanna to use it as work bag as it might be too heay

It’s nice to know a man’s opinion. And I’m glad to know it’s practical and that the leather is no so delicate.
How are the chains? They r not bothering ?

Yes, you have to get the right size for your body...
It is not heavy at all...even when I put lots of things inside it...

You are welcome...a man‘s opinion is very rare about this topic...
The chains are sometimes a bit confusing, but after wearing the bag a few times I figured out how to wear it best...I usually wear it cross-body with all chains or with the V-shape...
