Gorgeous Gabrielle <3 I didn't really like this bag in the beginning but it's really growing on me!! I think this will be my next Chanel bag but right now on the ban island......hope they will continue producing this style!!

Do you find the bottom part of the bag easy to get scratches? It is the only concern I have regarding this bag.

I finally found a boutique in US carries the small size Gabrielle hobo. I've been looking for it everywhere. So far only the boutique in Beverly Hills have the small one in navy/black and white/black if anyone is interested.

I know right? I wasn't the least bit interested in the bag when I first saw the promo clips. But when I saw it for the first time at the private viewing, I saw the endless possibilities and potential looks it can achieve, I'm sold!
Important to get the SMALL though. Cuz I am not certain the medium size will suit all the fun ways of 'playing' with it.

I was concerned about possible scratches, too. This bag is so edgy w/ it's aged (crinkled) calf top, I think scuffs will blend in with the style (especially with Cadillac conditioner on hand for buffing).

I have been known to be hypersensitive to keeping my bags looking perfect, but lately I've decided to be very particular about my purchases and not worry about resale value. I'm buying bags because I like them and I want to enjoy them. I have found I'm loving my purchases more and more because of my new attitude.

I will keep everybody updated on scuff marks.

P.S.: The Gabrielle is a permanent style. Each "Act" will have a few different color combinations. In the "Celebrities wearing Chanel" thread, Cara Delevigne is carrying a red/yellow/blue Gabrielle (#988). It's a little too Crayola crayon box for me.
Posts #970 & #983 (Lily Collins) is wearing the black hobo.
I'm looking forward to seeing Chanel's seasonal color and hardware choices.

I got the medium (which is a wee bit smaller than my Jumbo). It works well, too. I'm size 8/medium at nearly 5'10". I think the small would have been too small for me, to have the look I'm trying to achieve.

Yes in the beginning I felt it was too plain but as you said there are so many possibilities and the minimal look makes it to go with any outfit!!

I also like the aged calf skin mix with smooth one too, so unique and pretty!!

I'm interested in the small size, is it comparable with mini flap? How much can you fit in the bag? I'm used to mini bags so I'm sure it won't be too small for me [emoji4]

Hoping to get my hands on one next season [emoji6][emoji6]

Oh I so need to see the thread!! I checked many photos on Instagram and just feel more and more in love with this bag! It's so different than the classic flap / reissue / boy and has this French chic to it, big love!!!

I guess you are right, if I get this bag I shouldn't worry too much about the scratches as it adds more personality to it (I'm always paranoid about scratches and wear lol).
