the matte croc can come in canvas lining (a standard back then now it is optional) and the white non swift bags are ligned in agneau as there is no white chevre

Ooooh....how did I miss this thread when it first came out? I have a black VL Birkin 35 (PHW) that has been my workhorse since the day I got her in October. The leather wears beautifully. Although I was a little put off by the stiffness of the bag at first, I found it to be resiliant and has gained supple-ness (I confess to actually trying to smoosh the bag around a bit to encourage some "curve").....I can actually fold (don't shoot me) the bottom up and then set the bag down and it springs right back up as though nothing happened. So it's the perfect leather if you like structure.
