Have any Canadians heard anything from their Hermes stores in regards to the Canada's 150th Anniversary Wild Life scarf?
Sorry. I haven't posted in a long while and have forgotten how to reply to a post...
My SA has set one aside for me too. And he said some of his customers are getting more than one. I guess it's not so 'limited' actually.

That's amazing news for you! I'm so happy to hear that!
I got a call this week from the Toronto store but I'm not sure quite how to interpret the response haha
It was along the lines of, "a spot's been reserved but you have to come early". so I'm not sure if that's a yea or not and I feel silly calling them but I don't want to show up on Thursday and ball my eyes out in front of everyone if I misinterpreted them.
I think it means that they do have one put aside for you! And Canada Hermes website will also have this limited scarf for sale on June 15 so if anyone that wants to purchase one and not near a store you can purchase it on there.

Hmmmm... shawls like this work so well for me that I'm happy to see another. I love my dallet and wear it a lot. If I can find a different color of the horses that works for me I will definitely get it.

I am torn. I love the intricate designs but sometimes simple things like this are easier for me to incorporate into my wardrobe. I tend to save the bright intricate designs for my silk 90 purchases. I can throw them on with a simple sheath dress and I have a nice outfit. I like more sedate cashmeres for winter wear.

After successful and unsuccessful purchases, I came to think exactly as you Pocketbook Pup. It's easier to wear bright 70's and 90's, but the CSGMs I use the most are the ones whose colors match my outerwear in fall and winter or that are pastel or neutral.

I too, love intricate designs, but the colors have to be chosen wisely so as not have buyer's remorse later. I try not to buy on impulse, but to think on it a little bit.

I am grateful to dear Ksuromax, Cavalla and Yodaling for generously providing us with all the information we need to study the upcoming designs in advance and make the best decisions that suit our style and our wardrobe. It saves so much time and the whole process becomes so enjoyable. Reading the comments also sometimes makes me feel like this is one big group of friends shopping at the store together. Thank you all! [emoji171][emoji170][emoji172][emoji169][emoji173]️[emoji175]

I think many feel the same. These don't look like most H GMs but they do seem to translate better into everyday wear, GMs that need never be put away. The big cats on a GM ironically looked too tame on me and although my SA was mumbling "get it, get it, get it" like a mantra, and I already have Dallet silk, I didn't invest, whereas (if I can find the right colour - and it's not likely to be the black) I really could go for some 'messy' dressage horses.

Loving these. In fact I think I'm turning into a man at H, all of these cws suit me better than most designated for women and I love the c/s 100s

I looked up the artist, Sauvat, and his paintings and sculptures are truly moving. I had hoped for better cw's for this design (sigh!). Maybe they should have been a 140cm silk?

I love the men's collection too! I guess mainly because of their CWs. This one is on my shortlist, as is the Flamboyant Web (the spider robot), but yet to see more pics of that one.
The CWs of the men's tend to be more to my liking, perhaps because their scarves are mostly in the wool- or cashmere-mix and the scarf I would buy in these mixes would be more functional (as in: keep me warm during fall/winter) and therefore need to really coordinate with my existing wardrobe. The women's CSGMs mostly aren't neutral enough for me to do that, in terms of colour as well as design. And I know I will get a lot of use out of these shawls, as I wear one every day during the colder months. I need to be able to put them on on my way out without too much thinking about it, but just a beautiful addition to what I'm wearing. Therefore, I want a shawl to be kind of a neutral, but still special enough to be noticed so a great combination of CW and design. (Oh, and almost all shades of blue are "my neutral", no beige etc for me.)

Hermès should also think about using different knots for the men's scarves. I do not like the knot they mostly use where the scarf is tied around the neck like some sort of collar. It shows very little of the design this way and, just like the pirate-style for the women's scarves, I never wear it like this. Or, label the men's scarves "unisex" and in addition to a male model also show a female modeling pic with a different knot. Hermès should acknowledge these men's scarves are also bought by women.

Oh, and in addition to the note that Hermès should label the men's scarves unisex, they should really ad just a bit more (less sombre but still "neutral") CWs. And a few more designs too, look at all the different ones we women get to choose from every season and what the men (and we who like them too) have to get by on! :p
