These are really nice. I am wondering if the flower in the middle might be this one.

I took this picture in the botanical garden outside Cape Town.

I am going to South Africa again later this year so I will probably get one of these scarfs as a memory of my trips.

The flower is a protea - very common flower found in South Africa - indeed the King Protea is the national flower. The Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens just outside of Cape Town are famous for their proteas.
I agree with you, I think the flower(s) in the Ardmore Collective scarf are stylized proteas.
This scarf wasn't initially on my radar, but your suggestion to buy one as souvenir of your trip to S.A. gave me pause. I have a trip to Namibia this year (via JNB) . and it will make a cool souvenir.

Cool scarf rings.
But that cape?!? I wonder what the price tag will be. It looks like a craft project. Rectangle of wool with poorly attached trim. Seriously?

IRL it is a gorgeous piece - the version that is a couple of years old was $5400. I expect this one will be north is $6000. A few of them sold at the SF sale. Of course, they were half off!!

Yes, I'm picking mine up in store on June 15 as it's already set aside for me
Can't wait to see it!

That's amazing news for you! I'm so happy to hear that!
I got a call this week from the Toronto store but I'm not sure quite how to interpret the response haha
It was along the lines of, "a spot's been reserved but you have to come early". so I'm not sure if that's a yea or not and I feel silly calling them but I don't want to show up on Thursday and ball my eyes out in front of everyone if I misinterpreted them.

I SOOOOO agree with you on that pirate look! It annoys the living daylights out of me - it gives no idea as to what the scarf really looks like when tied and looks odd in profile.

The flowers of South Africa really looks different flat and tied IMO - seeing it tied has piqued my interest when I didn't care for it flat.

I did notice a different knot - looks like a clou de selle (is that what it is called?). Not sure I would try to copy it, but it is great to see something different!!
Yes, it's nice to see a new knot, but then I realized it's just to promote a new scarf ring. LOL, well anyway.
As others have pointed out, it would be nice to see fewer bland and white girls, although I suppose their bland whiteness showcases the scarves nicely. But heck, some of the folks here do much more enticing modeling!!

I didn't realize at first that the new knot is to show the new scarf ring. Wish that they would show the backs of the new rings. For me it is hard to get the complete picture without seeing the back.

And I do agree about more diversity in the models - I feel pretty comfortable with spotting colors that will work for me, though it can be so hard when H.com tinkers with colors to throw off fakers. At least I hope that is what they are doing!
