Here is my dilemma: boucles scarf or shawl?

With my new dress

I think the shawl is clearly better with the dress.

With my tweed jacket. I'm not sure.

Is boucles better than my paperoles?

I prefer the boucles design in silk... it has a bit more "pop" in the shiny fabric. And the smaller size is a better proportion with your tweed jacket. The shawl seems to overwhelm the outfits, at least the way you're showing it in your photos.

Hi Scarf Lovers! I'm still putting together my wish list for Fall 2016! Looking forward to two 90s and a CSGM for the season. Here is my slow start with Pani bandana!
Love this Kermit Oliver design so much, and I think it translates so perfectly for a bandana. Thanks for letting me share! Sorry this picture is HUGE! YIKES!!!View attachment 3505410

gorgeous Ladybaga!

Congrats! Love it! That one probably has the best contrast for the detail to show as well.
Thank you my dear Bunny! Yes, I also agree that this one showed the design best which is one reason I chose it. I love your "Rose Indien" as well but I tend to not wear brights too often.

This is FABULOUS! The Pani bandana is on my list for F/W as well. I'll be in London in January and with the exchange rate on the pound I may try and hunt it down there and save a few dollars haha.

Thank you all so much for the Pani love! Bostonjetset, I love your new C'est! The white and black etching is magnificent! It really shows up nicely, as if the artist drew it by hand on that gorgeous piece of silk! I know you will look amazing in it. Have fun in London! (I'm so jealous!) With good prices, perhaps you may come home with a little something extra? Can't wait to see what you find!

Thanks everyone for your opinions. I appreciate your advice. I'll sleep on it, but I think I'm taking both the shawl and the scarf of boucles back. Neither seems perfect to me especially in comparison to the cheval Phoenix. Or paperoles for that matter. Neither is making my heart sing. Fortunately I have many other scarves that I can wear with the dress for spring and summer and I'm sure I'll find a way to layer it to wear in in the fall. I won't try to force it if it doesn't feel right. Whenever I can't decide it usually means no..... Or regrets later.

Oh this shows the design beautifully! Congratulations. Perfect!
Thank you dear. Sad to hear about your decision on the Boucles but I agree that it is better to not have regrets later one.
About the CLF, I actually bought on H.com because my SA from "our" store never called me about it. I know they had one because I saw it in the display case a couple weeks ago but she was out so I wanted to wait for her. I gave her the benefit of the doubt to see if she would call as promised but....NOTHING. So I just bought it online. I know this is an inexpensive piece in H world but I must say I'm a bit disappointed I didn't get a call. I worked in high end jewelry retail when I was an undergrad and we were always told that EVERY customer is important because one never knows when they will decide to make the big purchase. H truly does operate in their own confusing [albeit beautiful] world haha.

Thank you dear Ladybaga!! I don't know how much time I'll have to shop since mum and I are only there a couple days after crossing over on the QM2 but hopefully they'll have something at Harrods since that's always a MUST when in London lol.
