I am sorry; I was so dismayed by the pictures that I completely forgot to thank you for all the time and trouble you have taken to provide those pictures. Please accept these as a virtual token of my appreciation.

I agree completely. Enough already with the mashups.

The horse scarf in the bottom right on picture 4 is the one that they were selling as a special edition at fsh when I was there. Tied it was incredibly boring.

What's going on? Is it just me? I'm not seeing much that I like at all. The colorful on the bottom left in picture 2 might be neat tied. But that's all. [emoji15]

It's not just you, I was very disappointed in the Saut Hermes scarf and so was my Silk SA at FSH. I totally trust her taste and she didn't really like it. Plus it wasn't selling well.

Pics in posts 347 and 352 show an H pinball machine, with what looks like a scarf on the wall in the latter post. It looks to be a carnival theme with horsey elements too. I'm intrigued since I enjoy highly detailed designs that go all the way to the borders.

I'm not sure if this has already been posted but "C'est la Fete" is coming as a CSGM in the men's collection as well. I'm not sure if it is an Imprimeur Fou remix or the original design.

I feel the same way. So far there are only 1 or 2 that catch my eye. One of them might be the Pinball scarf, for sentimental reasons (we had a pinball machine in our basement when I was a kid - it was great fun).

The two scarves hanging on the "ladders" in the 3rd picture look very interesting, but when I zoom in they only become blurry. Could the one on the right be C'est la Fete??

The scarf on the right is the one the Models wore for the Men's AW 16/17 PaP show... it can be seen in several different CW...

The Pinball scarf was the first to catch my eye- I like the limited and muted color palette of the one on the wall.

That is stunning! They are really starting to up the ante for the mens' lines.
In fact there is a 65cm silk from the men's line for SS16 that was shown on the runway in numerous colors and is also featured on the website [though not for purchase!] under the Ready-to-Wear "looks" section. I saw it at H Madison last week and almost jumped but I'm going to Europe in a week so thought it best to wait.

However, one thing that struck me as odd is that it was made in ITALY and not France. The silk was very light [although lovely]...even lighter than the vintage silk used for the 70s but not a chiffon. It had the caretag that reads Hermes Paris on it [similar to the Japanese cotton scarves] and not the standard scarf caretag. It did have the classic rolled hem though and was 100% silk. Is H starting to "outsource" their silks to other countries now? I know they have done so for specialty items where the expertise may have been greater in other areas but for a basic silk scarf with hand-rolled hems? I thought Lyon was supposed to be the best in the world for that?

Dear BJ!
you are talking about "Rameaux". I did a post about them just last weekend in the Spring 2016 scarves thread! :D
Not every store ordered this design (or were allowed to order it? I don't know if they was a restriction from FSH for this) one SA said it was a special edition, but over the years, we have learned to believe only half of what SAs say.. . specially if they haven't been working for H as long as we have been buying... lol OR even if they have been working for years, the don't have the intense exposure to the brand and its history we crazy silkies here have!...:graucho:
anyway, my own private explanation is, that because they are part of the "Ready to wear" SS collection, they have the tag of the clothing and not of the scarves....

You are coming to Europe!? how exiting!!!
