I agree completely. Enough already with the mashups.

The horse scarf in the bottom right on picture 4 is the one that they were selling as a special edition at fsh when I was there. Tied it was incredibly boring.

What's going on? Is it just me? I'm not seeing much that I like at all. The colorful on the bottom left in picture 2 might be neat tied. But that's all. [emoji15]
Totally agree!

It sometimes takes me forever, to get round to liking something. It's never happened with mishmash , Carré en Carrés was the first I saw and although MaitAi makes it look OK, it will never please me.
If only I could know at the time what I'll like in the future ! Some that went from loathe to love ; la Femme aux Semmelles du Vent [ yes, really!] Parures des Maharajahs, Beloved India, Magic Kelly , Please Check In etc etc

From current collection, so in time for nabbing one : Under the Waves when I tried it on I realised it was wonderful!

Ok I won't give up hope although my wallet will be happy if I do. [emoji4]

I'm not sure if this has already been posted but "C'est la Fete" is coming as a CSGM in the men's collection as well. I'm not sure if it is an Imprimeur Fou remix or the original design.

I was told this by an SA at the Madison men's store last week but he seemed to think it would be in the same format as the Caducée Rock of F/W15. That would make it more like a CSPM at 100cm. I didn't mention it on here because he was still unsure about the details, but now you also confirm hearing this. GREAT NEWS. Needless to say, my anticipation is already bubbling...this is the holiest of grails for me. However, I do hope it is 100 and not 140 as spending $1100 for one scarf is still a bit out of my comfort zone [especially when facial hair is not the best mix with the CS blend].

Are you sure?!? that is indeed WOW-News!!!!

But if "GRRRR" is a size 100, do you think they will bring out another Design (C'est la fete) in the same size?

Well, there ya go! Makes total sense, Pegase, if this is from the men's line. I STILL love it. Move over, guys, I'm gettin' in line!

:graucho: Happy Hunting Mindi B!!!
I have already seen way to many things I want on this coming season, I dont think I will be have enough funds left for this one... after I am done I will be so broke!

Interesting. Does that mean men's line? The CWs we have seen do have a more masculin vibe.

Honestly... I do not know...!

It isn't just you; all in all, I think it's just as well I started out with the Spring/Summer scarf collection, aided and abetted by the people here on the forum showing their own treasures. If these were the first ones I'd seen I would probably have concluded that I would stick with Hermes leather goods and ignore the scarves/shawls.

The mashups are what I classify as conventional unconventional; people thinking that they are being bold and daring when in fact they are doing very predictable things. I'm also far from convinced that all the designers are operating at the same level of skills as in the past...

These posts were so interesting to me ~ I buy 90cm silks and GMs only with the thought that they coordinate back to my Bs/Ks, that way I am sure they are a fit in my closet and with my outfits.

that is a wise strategy indeed! I also noticed if i have two accessories that match, possibilities for wearing both are multiplied in a geometrical progression :D

I feel the same. The only one, so far, that's a must for me is the Dallet. Of course, in multiple formats and colorways!! ;)
