babe, it's interesting how our H collections morph out of control, then we put our foot on the brake and drive off into another H-related direction! I am referring to your new obsession with homeware, there ARE some gorgeous designs presented right now.

I am totally with you about the 90cm silks, bought two ~ errr maybe three Zambeze last season ~ and have yet to wear them once. Still the CSGMs fill a need for me as I am always freezing indoors and outside regardless of the temps.

The Dallet's mustard hem really bothers me too tbh, so I get your indecision but I think the design is H at it's best and that ivory background will look great on you. So go for it before it's gone ~ not kidding, it is off the French H site when I looked this morning. Just my two cents. Also, you don't sound enthusiastic about any of the other offerings this season, so this will be your only CSGM for F/W 16. As for me, I am heading into Kachinas territory and scouting around for a few exotic CDCs, along with other surprises.

Have I convinced you that the Dallet CW 06 has your name on it? Think it will be a lovely addition to your collection. :hugs:

Yes I think you are spot on! And CSGMs are my silk priority. No 90s for me. The twillies this season have me hyperventilating tho. Particularly the bambi ones... So beautiful!!!

I have had quite a few unexpected expenses this summer including a new HVAC in my home so my zest for pouncing on Dallet is a bit diminshed...for now... and then there's the homeware buys I'm about to receive. I have been busy unloading unused H items to make me feel less guilty about turning right aaround and indulging... while simultaneously offloading piles of cash on the necessary items to live hahahah but yes, I def don't want this one to sell out. I'm also keen on Zenobie and Kachinas though... I will get the Zenobie that Sugarmama got a week ago.. but frankly, I have a kachinas in giant silk that I super love so if I forego one design it will be that one... the art of luxury trade offs hahahahah and I already have my eye on a new design for an ashtray and I don't smoke hahahahah what a world I live in.

You cannot even talk to me about H and their ashtrays ~ that is an obsession just waiting to happen!!! :love:

Ahhhh I found this post again.... shoot I need to see these 2 IRL. I love the red border and the natural seems lighter than I expected. I'll shut up about this now.

Not all blondes, unfortunately -- I'm a fair-skinned blonde and oatmeal tones make me look like I died two weeks ago! I can wear white but cream makes me look sallow. Even camel can be problematic. I guess some skin tones can be tricky, regardless of hair color. It's too bad because I find all those shades so elegant, and can't really wear any of them. I do much better with color near my face to brighten me up. Unfortunately I don't think any of the Dallet shawls will work for me.

Adding to the Dallet conversation, I was all set to buy the CSGM, since I definitely favor the large format. I also said I wouldn't be buying 90s anymore. :biggrin: But when I saw the 90 silks, I decided I like the design better in the format and colors offered.* So I purchased this one.
It's colorway 07 - BLUE BRIGHTON/ANTHRACITE/GRIS. :love:

I remember..and it's gorgeous... but I'll never swim back to the 90 island. Those days are over. Even if they brought Tohu Bohu back in 90 only... hahahahahah
