Ahhhh I'm banging my head against the computer screen trying to decide btwn Dallet #6 and #7. Does anyone have both to compare under the same lighting??? My SA has neither to photograph for me... both look amazing but I do prefer the red hem. Just afraid of a beigy tone washing me out... cream/off white looks better on me.... Opinions welcomed my darlings!!!!
Dear - I've seen 06 and 07 side-by-side and while both are beautiful, my opinion is that you should really choose based only on the background color and not on the hem color. 06 is cream-y white, as has been shared by others, and 07 is natural - which is like oatmeal. I posted a photo comparing the coloring to the CSMC because the overall impression of the Dallet 07 is similar in coloring with all the grey cats. I'll try to hunt that post down and refer you to it, if you haven't already been banging to that one ;)
p.s. the photo is at post 2464 on page 165 of this thread

I went with the red hem, I was worried about it washing me out but in the daylight it was fine. That boutique lighting is never great. It's been too hot for modeling pics but I'll try to take one soon. I'm not sure I'm going to get home with enough light today to take them. I'm very fair with a pink/peach undertone to my skin. This photo was taken in pretty low light so it's probably slightly dark.

Hmmm... Looking forward to photos. Maybe it was the light in my store. Your coloring sounds similar to mine. The cashmeres in our store are further back where there is less natural light. The red hen is just so pretty.

IF, I am going with the Dallet CW 07, just sayin' hon.

Sorry if I offended anyone with my joke. If one doesn't do well with beige/oatmeal but prefers white/ cream tones I think the one with the yellow hem will better suit them.

I liked your comment! I learned the hard way that Hermes natural looks like mud on me ... I bought a natural oatmeally shawl online and it was so beautiful I couldn't return it but really my only shawl that doesn't work ... In case you are wondering the men's couvertures et tenues from I think 2011 or so.. So chic but so blah on me!

We are twins MrsOwen3. Love the color and the red border.

VigeeLeBrun are you going to get the same CW? :-)
