For ladies who wear the carré on the head, I have a little question for you. How do you avoid the makeup stain? It's only happened to me once and I was able to get it off, but it made me quite nervous when that happened. I would really like to know if someone has some secret tip to prevent it from even happening? I've thought about wearing a real hair band underneath but then I think it kind of lose that "I don't care" attitude for wearing scarf on the head. Now when I'm wearing silk on my head, I basically have very very little foundation on my forehead and pretty much none near my hairline. Anyone has some tips?View attachment 3429080

I'm totally confused. 05 is definitely easy to wear. 01 is more dramatic. But I'm feeling a bit extravagant to keep them both.

Btw the return policy has not changed on charge send orders. Store credit only. Which doesn't bother me as I'm sure I'll use it.

Totally in love with my dans l'atelier de Robert Dallet. The neutral is freshed up by the red border. I start to understand the point of CSGM it's really cold today!!

Thank you. I decided to send 01 back. There is something just not perfect about it and at csgm prices they should be perfect. I'm keeping 05. It's easy to wear and integrates well with my wardrobe. I do think it's different enough from cavalleria d'etriers to keep. I wear a lot of blue so I don't mind having a few blue shawls.

I've wrapped the silk around an elastane headband; that reduces slippage. Otherwise it's a minimal summer makeup i.e no foundation just eyeliner, blush and concealer day for me! HTH.

I see now papertiger's point of starting a new thread on this topic so this one doesn't get derailed. My bad. I hope maryg1 doesn't mind that I take over this task and start one. I just can't wait to see everyone's photos and learn more from each other!

My mistake, apparently we already have one. Good to know, we can all contribute whichever season scarves we choose to wear - on our heads

Ahhhh I'm banging my head against the computer screen trying to decide btwn Dallet #6 and #7. Does anyone have both to compare under the same lighting??? My SA has neither to photograph for me... both look amazing but I do prefer the red hem. Just afraid of a beigy tone washing me out... cream/off white looks better on me.... Opinions welcomed my darlings!!!!

I tried them hon. The one with the red hem is definitely beigy. I looked like a corpse. A sallow corpse. The one with the yellow hem is a purer white/ cream and is probably the one you need.

No pics of 06 but I saw it in shop, the border is orange and it's red in my 07 the rest is similar but a tad more of an intense neutral for 07 ( my personal preference), both are beautiful
