Thank you so much! Yes I found myself thankful for a couple of cool wet days up here on the east coast just so I could buy new season CSGM!! Year after year I just find myself wearing these most days as soon as the temperature drops-these scarves are the best bit about winter!
Couldn't agree more! So beautiful and actually I had dip dye as my first few H scarves-took me a while to buy my first silks and honestly I wear those much less (repeat this to self when considering new season scarves!!)
Thanks to everyone for posting pix of the new scarves! I went to the Denver boutique on Friday armed with photos and color ways and all they had was the grey 140 Zenobie for fallI saw their order book and they're not getting very many 90s or 140 and only CLF in the men's dept. I'm so temped by all your gorgeous modeling shots, but since I'll be on maternity leave from 8/19 until the new year, it makes it hard to justify buying lots of scarves. Although I keep telling DH that the 140s will make excellent nursing covers...
I've noticed the same thing with my boutique- I provided my wish list to my SA, and half the items are not even in their order book- a couple of designs weren't even ordered in any colorway. This is the first season I have ever run across this. Seeing that you noticed the same thing, I wonder if all the boutiques have reduced their scarf and shawl orders?
I was at the BH boutique and asked for a specific colorway of au bout du Monde. They also said the same thing to me. They might not have ordered it. I was told they cut way back on scarf orders. I was really surprised given they are a major store in the US. Looks like this is happening across the board.

AARRGGHH! Thank heavens they are not doing that in Australia...yet. I would have a screaming fit; I've been buying H scarves for (err, cough) nearly 30 years!!! I feel the severe need to edit that, but it's true! Sigh. 
My SA said that the silk and cashmere buy in the US is smaller this season. She didn't say why. I assumed poor sales. It certainly isn't going to help to not have things in the stores when we want to buy them. Everyone involved seems frustrated. I buy things when I see them whether that is online or whatever, because I don't know if my boutique will ever receive what I want. My SA agreeswith that too. She advises that I get something if I see it. That makes it difficult to remain loyal to your SA. But then again they won't look specific things up for me to know if they are coming. It's difficult for then to keep track too. I specifically asked to see a colorway of a spring 140 silk when it arrived. I never got the call. And last time I went in to the store there was their only scarf in that colorway hanging on display. Thank goodness I noticed it. And the love hate relationship with h goes on

I know I'm being silly here but i can't help jumping in front of the mirror to try.... I have to confess that sometimes I do try the scarves on my head in boutique to decide whether I'll get it, but it's been humid and hot recently so I didn't do so. Now I learn that most people probably don't wear it on the head, but I actually like wearing it this way.
And I find it shows whether a scarf works with my skintone more easily and help me decide when trying in the boutique (because your hair is mostly covered so it doesn't get to balance the colors that much as when you wear the scarf around the neck).It's also pretty worn on the head, isn't it? Quite summery! Sorry... I'm just being mischievous here..

I wear scarves on my head all the time too, and in all sorts of ways. I think this looks adorable tied this way and altogether a really pretty scarf
