I suppose when you get all the way to the end of the earth you don't want to come upon some guy with his pole in the water. LOL. But I did enjoy looking at Paul Sérusier's work (google images). I had never heard of him.

I have one so obviously love it , but it could sit alongside much cheaper scarves in terms of design. The current graphic scarves don't have the same magic for me, so a Season I'll pass on.
The silk of the 90cms is a separate issue, still fabulously luscious.
I do find many of the detailed designs rather ageing but, although I don't wear them as often as the graphic ones now, I'm keeping them for later [ whenever that may be]

Think of Apparat des PLaines which I really regret not having bought now my favourite colour way has gone. It had massively intricate detail and shading , but the great border and colourations made it modern,beautiful and very wearable . A true Hermès masterpiece and worth every penny …I need one !
.I think that Hermès will continue to roll out both types of designs moving with the times ,and try to cater to the broadest possible audience.

I'm difficult to please with scarves and shawls , I don't want a huge collection and am very fussy about what I'll buy now.
To date none of this Season's offering s have inspired me .
But last Season was my best ever,I loved so many designs a and formats and in multiple colour ways.

I hear you! I *think* I am being more picky about what I buy, but credit card statements say otherwise. LOL. Apparat is still on the french website. What CW are you seeking?

I absolutely love the way it ties. I suspect this may steal PocketBook Pup's heart because it must pair beaurifully with anyting Colvert.

Cw10 is also in my radar but i need to try it on to decide.
I will send some modeling pictures soon.

I tried the cgsm of the carre boucles in blue, which has beautiful soft blues in the main field, but i was put off but the extremely bright almost turquoise border which did not agree with me. :(

Waiting anxiously for modelong photos. It's beautiful. And so different from anything that I have. [emoji33]
