HI all,
I've been hearing rumblings out there that the Hermes cashmere scarves and shawls for this Fall are very poor quality compared to previously - specifically the printing quality. Anyone know anything about this?

About printing quality of 2016aw shawls ....
Have not purchased one but several - Dallet and c est la fete - are simple line drawing style. Some find C est la fete is disappointing in its simplicity. The Dallet is beautiful but very plain relative to the recent batch of busy scarves
Chase en index is nice, but we have seen that one before , yawn ! But some nice cws
Carre en boucles tends to be monochrome and very stylized / graphic looking , simpler than Jamin's colliers de Chiens
So I would say that the designs are surprising in their simplicity , versus recent uber busy designs but these do not seem to reflect production quality issues with printing
Kachinas is in some muted cws eg the orange which is gorgeously understated but simpler relative to, say, the last crop of kachinas in all the neon colors
Classy, understated designs though

Our store doesn't show the book very often. My SA does keep my wishlist and pulls anything that I want when it arrives but I have to figure out which colorways are available in my own. Things are getting better but they are super strict.

I've been pretty fortunate in that if my boutique hasn't ordered a carre/CSGM, etc., my SA is able to have it transferred. .

Mine will do that too but with new stock they say that most stores will not transfer for 30 days. She will try but most stores want to hold things for their own clients. Some stores are more agreeable than others.
