@scarf1, Chacon fait son nid (90) is the design I'm most interested in as well. When I asked the SA at my store if any has arrived while pointing to the twilly version she said she didn't think it comes in a 90 after checking the name of the twilly. *roll eyes* While asking to see the new mens cashmere scarf, It's a Winner, she shared that the skeletons (C'est la Fete) which was a big hit last time around, will be coming in the same size and material as It's the Winner. She however didn't think it was a 70cm scarf the last time around. (She seems to think it's a 90cm or a pocket square). Needless to say, we at TPF who share intel know more than SAs per usual but I was expecting the person who is in charge of the silk department to be more knowledgeable. :p

I do remember at the beginning of this year, my boutique was frustrated because designs were appearing on h.com, and they had hardly received anything. when I stopped by in June, they said they never received any of the dragonflies although they had requested that design...

Hope it is not true about the 70s - wonder if Madison ave store will get any?
The design that I am most interested in at the moment seems to be one of the last to be released-
Chacon fait son nid (90)
Madison did not order any 70s, according to my SA. That is CRAZY bad.

My husband was in Amsterdam airport last month and when he asked about Les Zebres and Dans Un Jardin Anglais twillies, he was told those were old season designs and that his wife is wrong to want them now. Sigh!

Can't tell you how many times DH has gone through that as well while trying to proxy shop for me on his business trips. H has a C-book (of colorways for each design) but it's only mostly for 90s. There isn't one for mousselines or other less popular formats. A lot of times me asking for those formats is only helpful when I have a reference number, to which I'm really grateful to lovely members in the forum for that. Otherwise, the clueless SAs would just turn me away making it seem like it was a figment of my own imagination. :hrmm:

Patience! I know it's frustrating but you must try to understand that pure logistics prevent everything arriving in the shops all at the same time. These precious things take time to manufacture. The way things come to the shops in dribs and drabs isn't a new thing at all but feels all the more frustrating because we have prior knowledge of what the season may bring and we have the advantage of having a -somewhat incomplete - reference in the web shop which is still quite a recent development ( although how it works is rather more old-fashioned than that!). SAs are fallible - this is their job not necessarily their obsession. Accidents happen too and sometimes store orders don't arrive. There can be quality control issues, raw material shortages and - I know this happened on at least one occasion - robbers on the road.

Les Tambours, you are the voice of reason.
I do find it frustrating that SAs often (usually) don't know beans about the goods they are selling. (I once asked an SA about horn jewelry and she put her forefingers to her temples, pretending to be a goat, I suppose, and said incredulously, "Horn?! We don't have horn. Do you mean silver?" Yeah, I confuse horn and silver all the time.)
But you make excellent points about the supply chain and the effect of advance knowledge and expectation. Still, phooey on delayed gratification. :pout: :p

Yes. Exactly. Phooey! [emoji12]

hermes_la-maison-des-carres_landing_bandanas_ah16_5_col_d.jpg

How to explain this picture (www.hermes.com)? Does it mean we’ll have 2-colours bandanas?

it's two tied together and the crane (?) is photoshopped

If the model is wearing 2 tied together.... then they don't look as if they are larger than..... gavroches!

Just catching up on this thread , forgive me if this has already been cleared up. This is a bi color 55cm bandana. The two colors are diagonally divided on one scarf. I just saw it in the Paris store. Happy shopping!

I'm a little tired of checking the website over and over to see if something new has arrived. At least if multiple new scarves were listed (more than a couple of them) I'd perk up. So I agree with you, Pocket.

And I wish they put the newest stock at the top, grouping them by season. It's a pain to go scrolling around looking for new items.

Is there a way to sort them this way? If so, someone please clue me in. H.com is so frustrating...
