SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I think it is only because I would not shut up about CLF and my SA was sick of hearing it so she/he confirmed it would be coming.
Believe me, I do not get many perks at H...I didn't even get the adorable Xmas card that so many TPFers posted pics of last year HAHA. You know our store has so many quirks lol.

Too funny. They are ridiculous with these things. Don't feel badly BJS my card came from Paris. I don't hold my breath for any perks from our store.

I'm not sure that this new technique of letting the scarves arrive in dribs and drabs in different colors unpredictably is going to help their sales. To the contrary I found myself waiting to see all of the colorways last season only to lose interest at a certain point and decide that I didn't need the scarf at all. Scarves aren't bags. Scarcity won't sell more. They need to have them available for us to try, fall in love with and buy.

I couldn't agree more. My SA told me she begs Corporate to send her pictures of the colourways of all the new pieces, to no avail. What kind of marketing is that - not to even let your sales people become knowledgable about what's being offered?

Les Legendes de l'Arbre is one of my all time favourite designs , I do prefer looking at it to wearing it though so let my origin issue go reluctantly .
The lions and fabulous beasts were the most divine bit and here, in the finesse section, they don't stand out at all .I can see why H chose the way to colour it in this configurationas the corresponding corner is very dull, and so they've favoured the corner with the birds to be shown in radiant colour.
I was p---d off when I saw it was going to be a mash-up , sacrilege!!!
Yet here I am loving it and especially the deep petrol blue and the magenta . It makes the thing so much more modern .
Thought I'd share the creatures on my old one.

HermèsNuttynut thank you for showing these new colourations , a lovely surprise.

It's ever been so and in a way I enjoy seeing things arrive slowly . I usually avoid buying at the very beginning , and sometimes buy a scarf in a colour that I later exchange for a different colouration . But I love finding new things throughout the season and buy more as a result .
Were everything to appear together I'd be even more overwhelmed by gorgeousness initially and become bored after a while.
The fact I live close to four brilliant stores may have something to do with it !

You guys seem to receive stock before we do and I'm not certain that you are experiencing what we are. Things are painfully slow this season and they were the same in the spring. My SA specifically said that they are buying fewer silks in the US. Maybe sales were slow here? Hence the price decrease last year? But it's noticeably different than the previous two years. I don't mind gradual but this is painful.

I have always gotten more intel here than from the SAs. They laugh about being in the dark, but it must be frustrating for them.

Several places have said they did not order any 70s. That is crazy. It's not going to make us stop buying them!! Even doing away with the format is not going to stop us!
