I am so glad you love your TWO Sieste's as much as I do!!!! It truly is a piece of art! I have mine on the wall now. It makes me so happy every time a walk past it. I find myself just starring at it often

I was thinking of getting another one, too. So, I could keep the Bono on the wall. But, decided with the fixation hanging I could do both with the one scarf. But, now that I have heard your brilliant shawl idea!!!!!! I believe I need a second one again. I would be forever indebted to you if you could post pics of the shawl idea!!!!! I'm excited for Sieste to come in CSGM in the spring. But, I wonder if I'll love any of the CW's as much as I love this scarf! I just can't say enough about it. It is just so stunning! Congrats twin

I am so thrilled to be your twin on this piece Greengoddess and I will show you my shawl of two 90s. I love two 90s better than a shawl (don't yell at me friends!!).

The silk twill captures color and design so much more precisely and powerfully to me. Especially this Sieste--with the 3d effect of the gold/antique/bronzey/deep moutarde trees that jump off of the silk---a silk/cashmere weave cannot produce this look. I do love my shawls but a snag does me in. I have yet to snag one silk twill or even a moussie---and I wear my pieces--they are tough. But my shawls..... I think I need a good silk/cashmere therapist.....

And I did send the Vent back. For me, there was too much extreme color contrast that wasn't working for me--regal, sophisticated color in combination with brighter colors..... I think Ladybaga's rouge and deep blue might be a better choice for me but I am waiting......

I am so excited at the idea of seeing your two Sieste 90's as a shawl!i I totally agree with you on the gorgeous 3D effect being so powerful in the silk twill. This specific design in this CW truly does take my breath away.

I do love my silk/cashmeres too. But, I have yet to encounter a snag. I'm sure that will be traumatic for me as well. I do think that Sieste gorgeous effect is probably better suited for silk twill. Just army preference.....

Thank you so much for sharing these, ladybaga! They look absolutely divine on you. I love both but there's some about cw 13 - the autumnal colors look especially lovely on you. My store only has 2 cws so I'm still patiently waiting until the black one shows up before going to look at them.

I LOVE both these CW's on you Dear Ladybaga! How could you not get them both when they look so good on you I'm hoping to add 12 soon

With all the talk of Paddock and the somber prune coloring, I thought I'd post this—worn as a headband on one of the yuckiest, hottest days of the summer. I adore many of the Paddock colors and hope to bring several home over the course of the season, but I'm still surprised that this came home first. Despite the gorgeousness of the blue, red, gray, and white versions, the elegance of this one might make it one of my easiest scarves to wear...

I'm so glad you posted the prune paddock! First it looks gorgeous on you in your hair. I have never worn an H scarf as a headband. Have you ever had an issue with nature hair oils getting on the scarf? Not that I'm particularly oily But, I've always worried about that issue....I also like a few of the paddock CW's. Prune, grey, and black and white moved me the most. I bought B & W. Because I didn't have a B&W 90 yet. And, felt it is a classic. But, the next I would like to add is Prune! I don't find it so much sobering as deep and Rich I hope people will give it a second look after seeing your photo

Oh paper tiger, do try the purple paddock again. I wasn't sure about the colors just like you. After many tries I settled on the purple, which I brought home to find worked so well with many outfits I hadn't anticipated. This is a photo of it when I just threw it on with a tee to run to the grocery store. Arabesques also chose prune and has posted much better photos. But you don't need advice from me. While you're all anticipating SS16 I'm just catching up with AW15. Love the cws this season, mostly muted, 'muddied' greys/greens/blues but also a shock pink on pink and psychedelic Zebra gav

I now have every format in ZP H has made so far

It took me 3 shopping trips to find my 5 I think I have to give up my Paddock dreams though

re: Paddock

The new colorizations look great on paper but I found most of them hard to wear for my medium sallow complexion. I only took the white/black home wth me. To go with my white/brown Paddock from 2004.
The Rouge cw was pretty but it was too similiar to my 1950s RougeH Paddock, which I value greatly as it's a perfect match to my RougeH bags.


The Kaki cw from 2004 that Papertiger is referring to was absolutely gorg. I used to have it. It was like the kaki version of the Prune cw: tonal and subtle. I call it Kaki rather than olive bc the background color had a lot of brown tinge. It was the only cw that was made specifically for the Men Dept and was usually displayed in the men section and was harder to find.

I'm so sorry the CW's for Paddock are disappointing with your skin tone!;( I wish that H always included a few CW's that would work on each skin tone!

I'm afraid if I'm interrupting my dearest papertiger's beauties, but I just wanted to share my Collections Imperiales on my wardrobes to see how they work. together. I finally picked up cw 14 fucshia/very/noir, and 07 rose/bleu/vert. On the pic of cw 14 the yellow line stands out but it is not so annoying IRL. Very intricate silvery lines and the frieze in grey are very beautiful on black and grey or silver.

The ZP MT is the last scarf I tracked down. I haven't worn it yet but I know I want to wear with my beige trio of long trenches (YSL, Gucci and Aquascutum reversible). Carres are just tooooo traditional with trenches, a good look for teens/20s and over 60s but the MT is much more 'free'. I'm going to channel the polished prime Jerry Hall look; all undone or just belted (not buttoned) with pushed-up sleeves and flowing skinny scarf I shall only be posting a pic if I come close to achieving my aims
