Hello Silky Friends!
I have a couple of goodies to share..... L'Arbre du Vent in cw 11 (showing both folds on the bias) AND L'Arbre du Vent in cw 13 (showing both corners as well.) I went to H on Saturday and when I saw these two, I couldn't decide, so they both came home with me. (Please forward my mail to BAN ISLAND.)

Congratulations Lady-B! Specially Since I say your post I am particularly fond of CW 13! so much so, that I am changing the second CW of my "original wish list". Its fantastic!!!

There is an extended description with detail pictures of the design on the designers web page; Monet Lugo
but only in Spanish and French...
Its so full of meaning, every single drawing has a meaning!

Hello Silkies,

I have been looking and watching and have only just bought my first pieces from this season. I am a weekend messy mess so no modeling pics. Sieste has been shown and discussed and while I am still thinking about cw 15, I am sticking with this one (bought two) to wear as a silky shawl. This piece takes my breath away. The golden trees gleam with color and depth. The deep eggplant in contrast with the smidge of purple and red are magnificent! This is my DIE FOR piece of the past year and even surpasses the b/w Mythiques Phoenix which I thought was superb from two seasons ago. his piece is truly a piece of Art!

The L'arbe de Vent might go back....still thinking.... But wanted to show if someone else is considering.

Like the others have said, I also can imagine this CW of Siesta goes really well with your hair color, you chose well!.
Sorry to hear you did not kept l'arvre de Vent but hey... more "means" for other goodies, right!?

I just got. I loved ADV and have been waiting for the shawls to come in. There were 3 CW's that I wanted but 2 of them I want in a shawl so I went for the black. I keep thinking about the scarf, the Jardins that was hanging. I think I might exchange the pink for the orange. I am trying to go with cw's that I don't have, but I really love that one. I am still in love with both the other two scarves that my SA kindly held up but both of those I want in a shawl. While I will repeat a design in two different formats I try not to do that with the same cw. I was wearing the turquoise Les Confessions. I had to fold it tightly because I was about to get in my convertible. So unfortunately the design isn't showing very well.

I think this is such a fun, explosive design with so many ways to highlight the design! Are you enjoying your black version? I am thinking that that one would be gorgeous in a shawl, too! I am still waiting for the shawl. I haven't worn the scarf yet. I tend to reach for a shawl 9 times out of 10. The weather is still hot here and I find that I use a shawl in the a/c but don't like the silk around my neck until it gets cooler. Even then I almost always reach for a shawl. I really need to slow down on my scarf purchases. I have so many that still have tags attached. It's so hard though the silk scarves are just so beautiful.

Papertiger, I love your vision inspired by Jerry Hall ( whose forehead and hairline I've always liked). You look beautiful in the trench with Quintessence. I still remember a photo of you in an embroidered shearling coat with Zabavushka (sp.?) - gorgeous colors and textures.

Please show us a mod shot of you in your beautiful Tyger!!! You always looks so stylish! I still think of your Ex Libris en Camouflage with your beautiful coat(s) and lovely locks of hair. I believe it was a tweed that picked up the colors in your ELeC. To this day, I still remember that picture. PURE BEAUTY!

While you're all anticipating SS16 I'm just catching up with AW15. Love the cws this season, mostly muted, 'muddied' greys/greens/blues but also a shock pink on pink and psychedelic Zebra gav

I now have every format in ZP H has made so far

It took me 3 shopping trips to find my 5 . I think I have to give up my Paddock dreams though

Pirula obviously has a photographic memory

Just for ref, this my YSL with very loosely tied Quint Carre. This was after my PhD graduation and it had started to rain (I wore my Gran's white H clutch just to the ceremony but here with my mum's Gucci shoulder bag)

They didn't make MTs then (2010) but imagine how much better would this be with a Maxi Twilly I think they will be perfect with our new longer length coats (new or unearthed)

P.S. Greengoddess I would love that Sieste...if I can find one in a store to try
