Hello Silky Friends!
I have a couple of goodies to share..... L'Arbre du Vent in cw 11 (showing both folds on the bias) AND L'Arbre du Vent in cw 13 (showing both corners as well.) I went to H on Saturday and when I saw these two, I couldn't decide, so they both came home with me. (Please forward my mail to BAN ISLAND.) :p

Oh WOW Ladybaga, I can see why you had to take both cws!!! As for ban island, at least you stayed there for a while! Every time I say I'm heading there, I'm flagging the first boat off the island!

Both of these cws will look fab with your new kelly from Paris!

Thanks Greengoddess

I should get my herd of Zebras together, good idea

The ZP MT is the last scarf I tracked down. I haven't worn it yet but I know I want to wear with my beige trio of long trenches (YSL, Gucci and Aquascutum reversible). Carres are just tooooo traditional with trenches, a good look for teens/20s and over 60s but the MT is much more 'free'. I'm going to channel the polished prime Jerry Hall look; all undone or just belted (not buttoned) with pushed-up sleeves and flowing skinny scarf :D I shall only be posting a pic if I come close to achieving my aims :p

Well, I'm certainly not going to argue with you papertiger. You certainly know your stuff and this look sounds very divine and totally de rigeur. I just would like to point out that I seem to recall a picture of you in a trench with a Quintessence carre and I am sorry, you looked phenomenal, and not a day over 60! or 25 for that matter. NOT that there is anything wrong with 60, I get closer everyday.....

Just sayin...........

Thanks Greengoddess

So glad you will be herding your ZP's together for a picture;). I can so see you in the prime Jerry Hall skinny scarf long beige trench look!!!! It makes me want to be your twin and attempt the look myself:graucho: I am sure you will be achieving your look..So, I look forward to the picture ;)
It is so stunning!!! I haven't seen this cw in any store yet, they must have walked out as soon as the flew in. Hope you get no.2

This scarf design is almost as energetic and dynamic as you, perfect expression of you personality Ladybaga

Thank you papertiger! I wish you could see it in person! I think this CW might be one you would like to add. Though your CW is just as TDF!!! I hope I get #2 too:cool:

Pirula obviously has a photographic memory

Just for ref, this my YSL with very loosely tied Quint Carre. This was after my PhD graduation and it had started to rain (I wore my Gran's white H clutch just to the ceremony but here with my mum's Gucci shoulder bag)

They didn't make MTs then (2010) but imagine how much better would this be with a Maxi Twilly I think they will be perfect with our new longer length coats (new or unearthed) :graucho:

P.S. Greengoddess I would love that Sieste...if I can find one in a store to try ;)

You look smashing. The loose tie makes it. But, I do love the idea of the long flowy MT as a casual chic option:graucho: Now I really want one:roflmfao: I hope you can see and play with the CW at your local boutique;)
I rest my case. [emoji16]
Your right Pirula! And, you must have a photographic memory!!!!!

Thank you all so much for the complements on my fall purchases! I really enjoy seeing the beautiful pictures that you all post here. It is truly a thrill and pleasure for me to celebrate your lovely purchases as well! :woohoo::smooch::hugs::ghi5:

:woohoo: I saw the pic while I was lurking, I had no words. Again I have no words! Love two Quintessence scarves on you! Great idea and great look!

Interesting comparison shot, Cherryblossom. Thank you.

Oh cherryblossum beautiful pairings!!! I have yet not ventured into the Collection Imperiales but after seeing these beauties I think it may
just be time!!

These are gorgeous cherryblossum! Especially that fuchsia one!

CB your CI look gorgeous against your clothing! I know you will enjoy them:graucho:

Cherryblossom, the pink CI is superb.

Papertiger, I think the prune Paddock might be the one for us :hugs:

We are twins on the second one! On a side note, do you find yours to be a bit stiff? I am hoping mine will drape better with some more wear.

Thank you ladies for the kind words on my CI's.
@perfumegirl01, I do think the same. They are both stiff. I think it is because of the gold/silver thread in the scarf, which make the carre so special.[emoji6]

Papertiger, I love your vision inspired by Jerry Hall ( whose forehead and hairline I've always liked). You look beautiful in the trench with Quintessence. I still remember a photo of you in an embroidered shearling coat with Zabavushka (sp.?) - gorgeous colors and textures.

Oh, dear! I've been admiring these cw's of L'Abre du Vent these days. Gorgeous , as always!

With all the talk of Paddock and the somber prune coloring, I thought I'd post this—worn as a headband on one of the yuckiest, hottest days of the summer. I adore many of the Paddock colors and hope to bring several home over the course of the season, but I'm still surprised that this came home first. Despite the gorgeousness of the blue, red, gray, and white versions, the elegance of this one might make it one of my easiest scarves to wear...

You look elegant in this cw! Thank you for sharing!:smile1::flowrs:
