Mia, your pictures are so helpful! I have been dying to see the gray/etoupe cw of Magic Kelly, thanks so much for posting the many pictures. I am eager to read your response to BBC's question re: what you will wear with this cw, as I too am wondering if the blue really pops or if, IRL, the cw is very subtle. Thanks for sharing!!

mia i am so blown away by this! do you have any idea where i can find one, is there still hope???!?!?!!! :sweatdrop:

palmbeachpink!! I missed your post! Your magic kelly summer twill is gorgeous!!

i am speechless! i  your summer twills! i think we need a thread for them!

we are twins on kachinas c/w 8 and cousins on magic kelly!

i looked EVERYWHERE for c/w 5 in kachinas, please share how you found?!?

the gray magic kelly is stunning, i remember a mention of gray but since my store did not order this scarf at all, i had no clue what anything looked like!

you pictures are amazing, i have a hard time taking pics of 90's let alone the 140's!!

so happy for you and love all of them!!

Hey eagle1002us, thanks!! The Kachinas are the lighter weight summer twill. I believe Kachinas summer twills are SS2012 collection.
Mia, all the finds are terrific but the colorful katchinas is alsolutely magical.

Is a summer silk lighter weight than the standard twill?

Hi Monceau, thanks for your compliments!! I am so honoured to be one of the enablers here!!! :D Lalbhai summer twill is one of my favourites too!!! I got 3 colourways in the end (lavender, red and also the mustard/brown one). I too agree that Summer Twills are harder to find and it takes time. Hope to find more, esp. the Equateur and Fabrique Rubans one.
WOWWWW Mia, these are FABULOUS!!! You always find the best treasures!
That cw of Magic Kelly is soooo luxe and those Kachinas are super hard to find. I love these summer twills and I bought my first one (lalbhai green/lavender) after seeing your modeling shots, so thanks for being a great enabler!:p

Hahahah Mindi B! Thanks!! I would love to work for Hermes even for FREE if I can play with the silks and accessories every single day! LOL!
Mia, I love your pictures. You should work for Hermes; your photos are so enlightening. And enabling!

Hi kittyHawk, thanks! I am blown away with this colourway because it is neutral base but the sparkles actually pops! It is not that dull as a neutral. I would say it works as both neutral/subtle and pop. Hard to explain as it can work both ways depending on your clothings. I would wear it with bright colour clothings like red, electrique blue, emerald green, orange etc. But it can also be worn together with black and navy and prune/burgundy type of colour but won't be dull at all.

Hey carlinha, my enabler!!! LOL! I found mine in France a few months ago. I think you can try US or Europe. Good luck!!! Hope to be twins again!!!

Hi palmbeachpink, thanks thanks! I love your magic kelly colour too! I wish I can buy all the colours! Good idea we should have a "Ode to 140cm Summer Twill thread"...hehe! I just love this light-weigt silk! Anyway, I found my Kachinas 05 in France a few months ago through a friend who was there.

Thanks HfromT! I just love buying and taking photos of anything H! It is my passion. :D I love wearing the Kachinas 08 with summer whites and blush. The colour is just so soft and soothing! Glad to have found this baby unexpectedly!
Oh my goodness Mia...you take the BEST photographs! Thanks so much for sharing these with us! CW 08 of the Kachinas summer twill is absolutely my most favorite...so chic!

Thanks julian.f! That is why I "need" both! A subtle and a shocking bright one. :p
Oh, Mia, the Kachinas are just showstoppers! Congrats! I love the bright one but CW08 just TDF.

Hey BBC! Glad to be an enabler! Well, I am not an expert but like what I've replied to Kittyhawk above, this etoupe Magic Kelly can both work as a neutral/subtle colour and a pop because of how the colours are distributed. I would wear it with bright colour clothings like red, electrique blue, emerald green, orange, fuchsia pink etc. But it can also be worn together with black and navy and prune/burgundy, forest green, white, cream type of colour but won't be dull at all. I will try to take some photos of the scarf with different colours of clothes to match during the weekend and post pix here so you can see how it works. I would say this is a great choice to match your bags!! Go for it!! :graucho:

P.S. I am twins with you on the orange Tigre Bengale as well and it works great with khaki/beige type of colour. Try it with a trench coat. :)
Oh drat! I think I *need* this....Mia, I need your expert advice. What would you wear this with?

I tend towards neutral scarves because they're pretty and go with everything, but then I wind up looking a little dull. My only really "pop" scarves are the red summer silk Lalbhai (which I wear with black, white or pale pink), turquoise Raconte-Moi le Cheval (with black or blues) and the orange Tigre Bengale (not yet worn, I have to figure out how to wear it). The rest are neutral or blue. I'm afraid of bright colors overwhelming me. Do the red and blue in this give it enough of a pop? I am drawn to it as it will match my bags.

Thank you!

Haha, I have three of the Lalbhai as well - the green/lavender, the Mais/ Havane, and the Aubergine/ orange. The Equater and Rubans are on my list as well.
I have only seen one Rubans IRL, it was on display at Madison. They would not sell it to me and they said they would not get any more :nogood:

I don't believe anyone has posted the Rubans, so it is very elusive. Strange, since H gave it such prominence in the scarf book and their fall print campaign...

If anyone can locate it, I'm sure it will be you, Mia! Please post if you find it!:flowers:

Mia, your pictures are just gorgeous! I have 3 Lalbhai as well (lavender, red, Aubergine/orange), coral Kachinas and orange/red kelly magic. Love summer twills! Waiting for Ruban and adding black Equater on my list... Does it sound like Monceau's post above?! LOL!:wlae:

Oh Monceau! We are twins in the green/lavender and the mais/havane for Lalbhai! I would love to own the Aubergine/orange too but could only find the Rouge Vif one so I settled for the Rouge Vif. You're so lucky to have seen the Rubans IRL! I have only seen it in the magazine. I sure hope I will be able to locate it. You too! Wish all of us luck on this one!

Thanks mimi 123!!! We are twins in the lavender and rouge vif Lalbhai!! Yay!! I think Monceau, you and me must join force together and find the Rubans and Equateur!!! Must buy!! :D Anyway, do post pics of your Coral Kachinas and Orange/Red Kelly Magic! I would love to see!! I am not yet done with Kelly Magic and would love to own 2 more colourways...thinking about the black, the red/orange like yours or the navy/purple one.....:p

another lalbhai cousin here in baby blue, i believe it was the first summer twill 140 summer twills.....also thinking of kelly en perles (was that washed silk or summer twill?)

congrats + so happy that you have three beautiful lalbhai's, coral kachinas and orange/red magic kelly, is it like the orange c/w that was on h.com? all great choices!

i also have rubans, an + equateur on my list! i am going to try to stay focused on 140!

since these can be hard to find + they seem to appear not in their respective seasons it may be helpful to do a separate thread....i don't mind starting it but my pics pale in comparison to mia's!!

Not sure if someone has posted this but the limited edition Indigo scarves are on australia.hermes.com now. These scarves are dyed with natural indigo pigments in Bangladesh.

Ladybaga - your crush is the star of this collection!!!

It amazes me that the websites are so different....h.com/us has such a pitiful selection compared to h.com/australia compared to h.com/france, etc.....is there a reason for this?

I never would have known if not for you CN.....many thanks!
